Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Recently I showed you my Kingfisher and today I have a photograph of another bird we often see in the park.

Love to see him though I don't think the fish do Lol!

We call him 'The Poser' as he seems quite happy for me to get up close to photograph him which is unusual as they are normally quite timid birds.
I feel really privileged to have this lovely park so close to us and being able to get such great photographs is enough to make anyone smile.

Thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too if you like.

Thanks for stopping by,

WOYWW 347 # What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

And yes I am back home. Been a bit busy so not finished the journal pages yet but will let you see them when completed.
My Mini Shrine is back from The Craft Stamper magazine as you can see.
BP looks as though he is eyeing it up maybe he fancies the angel on the front. The little blue robot looks interested too! or maybe it's the old brass weights that are interesting him.

Here is a closer view if you are interested.
I just love these shrines from That Craft Place.

 Side view too.
If you would like to see the back it's here.

Other than that not much happening this week as I have been busy getting sorted after the trip away but should get back to normal soon (whatever that is).
This is quite a useful book if you like journaling.
The other little note book is where I keep a list of any challenges I have entered.

So that's it for today.
Hope to have more to show you next week.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Mini Shrines for That Craft Place.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

You may remember that earlier this month I mentioned that I would be posting a tutorial showing how to construct the Mini Shrines.

If you are a follower of The Craft Stamper magazine you will have seen the gorgeous Mini Shrines this month which myself and my team mates at That Craft Place made.
These little beauties are all designed by Lisa and cut by Danny at That Craft Place.

Here is the one I made and if you would like to see how I completed it I have posted a tutorial showing its construction over at That Craft Place Blog.

These gorgeous little Shrine parts are available in different styles from That Craft Place.

Definitely be working with them again.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over to That Craft Place.

Hi back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over

The dies I used for this are all by Spellbinders.

I hope you will pop over to see what my team mates have been making and also to join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Friday Fun Day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Welcome once again to my Friday Fun Day, hope you enjoy looking.

Still in France and I thought I would show you some pictures they have on the walls here.
I have always liked these and hope you do too.

The owner has several paintings of bears as the hotel is called the L'Ours Blanc or White Bear and this is one I particularly like.

Other things which might make you smile:

Gorgeous desserts.

This guy stands in the entrance.

Finally this should make you smile!

Some time ago I was reading in a magazine about the best sports to keep you fit and it said that the best one was skiing.
Now at first this made no sense to me as most people only ski for a couple of weeks per year but then I read on and it said.....
People who ski spend the rest of the year getting fit to do it!
Now that I do understand!

So I hope this makes you smile as much as it did me.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too if you like.

Thanks for stopping by,

So here is my desk for today!

Or it's not because we are still here and this is the one I showed you last week.

We have had mixed weather although we have been skiing every day.
As you can see we have had some gorgeous days too.

However I have got a little doodling done on the journal pages.
Usually between bath-time and dinner and here they are:

This is what they looked like the last time you saw them.

And as they are now:

I need to add some sentiments and they will be complete but that may have to wait until we get home.

So that's about it for now.

Thank you for stopping by.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to. It may take me a little longer than usual but I will get there.

Have a great woyww

This is part of our trip up the mountain.

This is what it was like when we arrived.

Lots of snow and lovely food.

And finally!!!

The photo at the top is 'Him Indoors' he decided the visibility was poor on Monday so he snuggled up under the covers....... lazy man!
I did manage to get him out later for a nice walk down to the village. He's not getting away with that my friends!

However had to add this which is Wednesday same view through the window.

Gorgeous sunny day though this was actually quite late afternoon.

So I hope this makes you smile as much as it did me.

So here is my desk for today!

Not what you expected my friends?
That's because we are away skiing, yes it's that time of the year again!

I prepared some journal pages before we left as we were unsure what the weather would be like.
No snow since end of November but now it is coming down, lots of it.

This is what it was like when we arrived.

But I am sure you are more interested in the crafty stuff so here are my pages in waiting:

That's it for now but hope to show you what I've done with some of them next week.

Thank you for stopping by.

Crafty Cardmakers.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Great News!

I'm here to tell you that I shall be making cards for the 'Crafty Cardmakers and More' Challenge Blog.
I was so pleased that Lin asked me to join the group.
The Design Team are highly talented and just hope I can keep up with them.

The theme for this challenge is 'New' and it seemed a good idea to base it on something new, so here is my first card.

I used a new stamp too, so all very appropriate for this challenge.

And made a new Masterboard.

On the white paper I stamped with black and then embossed it with clear powder and on the black I stamped with white paint slightly watered down to give a softer finish.
Then used a Spellbinders die set to cut the shapes and mount them together.
The hand and the nibs are Tim Holtz dies and the stamp is Clarity.

I hope you will pop over to see what my team mates have been making and also to join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Happy crafty card making.
