Masterboard Monday.

Welcome all my new followers and hope you enjoy the journey.

I've actually been making Christmas Masterboards and hope to get started with Christmas cards too. So here we go!

Not a traditional Christmas colour so I hope you like it.

This is the stamp I used for this project.

I started by heat embossing using clear and white powder.

Then coloured this using distress inks.
Stamped on it with the smaller stamp too.

The Wreath was stamped twice using Archival ink onto the Masterboard and cut to fit the card blank. One piece was cut to fit over the centre to build up depth to the card.

I then mounted the sections adding a matching ribbon, layering the Masterboard pieces with coordinating plain card. Stamped the sentiment stamp and cut the card with a small Spellbinders tag die. I attached more ribbon to this and mounted it in the centre of the wreath.
I completed the card by adding some matching gems.

And the finished card.

I didn't want too much depth as many of my Christmas cards need to be posted.

Hope you like it.
All comments gratefully received.

Happy crafty week,
Angela x

What a fab card, Angela! Isn't it hard to create a card with a bit of depth that doesn't cost a fortune to post?!! You've cracked this one.

Hi Angela, thanks for your visit, and no worries - I was very late indeed with last week's WOYWW - real 11th hour stuff! So glad you liked my Zentangles and my ATC album for my samples. Those ATC pocket pages are awesome and a great way to display them because you can see the backs too. I got the pages on Ebay.

Hi Angela, beautiful how you've made your embossed background. The panels you've cut with the stamped image gave the card something extra I think.
Thank you for joining the challenge at Addicted To Stamps Challengeblog.
