Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

I've been playing with lots of Seth Apter goodies and some card that I coloured with mica spray inks.
The Masterboard was completed with various Seth Apter stencils and masks using Paper Artsy Grunge Paste and Prima Transparent 3D Matte Gel.
I then went over these areas with Distress Inks.

I so love these dies and used them to die cut some of the sprayed card to be used later on this project.

Now I'm not sure what Seth will think of this but I wanted to make a background paper to match the dies I planned to use, so first thing was to make a mask using a Mylar sheet and the above die.
I then used this to mask the card and applied colour with Brilliance ink.

Finished design.

Cut this to size, inked the edges and started to mount the die cuts.

Then went on to position a small section of the Masterboard.
Before attaching this I distressed the long edges.

I started with the card this way up.

But then decided to add one of the words from a Seth Apter  stencil, so turned the card round though it would probably work the other way too.

To complete this design I splattered it with Pebeo Artist Marker and added some matching coloured pearls.

Of course I still have lots more Masterboard and patterned card just waiting to be made into something new, so see you soon.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

Hi Angela, love what you've done here. The background is amazing, I have that Brilliance pad, and quite a few others, and have never thought of using them for backgrounds. Hugs. Shaz Xx
