Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Maike is hosting today and our challenge is Thankful.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to just be cards, as long as it meets the challenge, and doesn't exceed the 15 total challenges entered rule!

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

A  fairly quick card today using Distress Oxide inks and Tim Holtz dies which I finished with coloured pearls to match.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Pleased to say this has been a bit more restful this week but that means I don't have a lot to show you.

The restoration of the park is coming along now.

These are the new buildings for the visitors centre.

And they are turfing the ground where the house used to be.

Apparently there was pumpkin carving on Tuesday but missed it as I went to see my mum and dad.

Now it's been a bit wet and windy here so Maisie and Stan had to wear their new jackets but I don't think Maisie was that impressed.

I think they look quite smart.
They are very clever suits as they have zip on legs which will be great in the snow but we have removed them for now.

Stan's not bothered all he wants is for you to open the door and let him out!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW # 438 What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!
For me it looks almost tidy!

Working on the cover for a new Star Book here.

And 'The Box' which was emptied at the weekend and is just as full again, mostly Christmas stuff that I'm using at the moment.

Some of you have advised on a bigger box but I know that if I had one as big as the desk I would still fill it up! At least when it reaches exploding point I know it's time to clear it out Lol!

The card on the right is one I posted on Masterboard Monday here.
It's another quick card using Elenszinski Zini stamps and my Masterboards.

So that's me done for today, nice a quick.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterbord Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

I know you are probably thinking you've seen this Masterboard before and I am using up the left over bits.
Distress Oxides and lots of stencils and stamping. Coloured him with watercolour pencils then finished the card with gems, glazed the eyes and added his little hat.

Fairly quick to make once you have the Masterboard which is just what you need when making your Christmas cards.

The little guy at the front is by Elenazinski for Paper Artsy.
I just added a little hat to put him in the mood for Christmas.

I am sure there will be more cards follow using left over bits.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.

I would love to hear your comments if you have the time.

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Walking with the girls.
View of the Cathedral.

We stopped off at Doddington Hall and they were drying out their pumpkins! ready for Halloween.

Hot chocolate and Lattes, lovely!

And the scones were good too.

They sell bikes here and have them hanging from the ceiling.

I photographed this one as it was the same age as me!

Not bad for it's age!

Made me smile anyway!

If that's not enough I had a great day at the Doncaster Dome on Sunday. Went to a craft show run by Stamp Magic.

I so love these new Penny Black Christmas stamps.

And here is Leandra from Paper Artsy doing her thing.

A few of her samples, gorgeous.

Other than that, more gardening!!!
Oh and quite a bit of crafting too!!!

So that's it now, off to the Gym and then I'll be back to see what everyone else has been up to.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

I started with this old cigar box which had been hanging around for ever but I'm pleased now that I didn't throw it away.

And finished here:

Crafty cardmakers Challenge - Halloween.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Glenda is hosting today and our challenge is Halloween.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, not just cards as long as it meets the challenge theme and doesn't exceed the 15 total challenges entered rule.

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

When making this card I had a look through my left over Masterboards and found this:

Now I thought this might be good as the base for my Halloween card.

So I cut a piece to fit a 7"X 7" card and this is where we ended up.

I stamped and heat embossed the spiders web onto acetate.
After attaching Tim Holtz die cut spider, bats, text and metal spider, I
completed it by adding the black brads, layering it with red and white card and attached it to a black card blank.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I had a great time at Newark last Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday I went to a great workshop organised by Oyster Stamps.

Iliana from Sweet Petunia gave a great workshop using the Misti stamping tool, not only that but we received a free goody bag! and free stamps.
The workshops that Oyster organise are always good value and it's so nice to have other people to craft with.

So here goes a few photos from the day.

This is Iliana who invented the Misti.

 And the lovely Barbara.

My desk for the day.

Misti in action and yes it should be pink but the sun has faded mine not that it makes any difference to the way it performs.

All done and ready for colouring in.

This was just another way to use the Misti.

Wonder if you know who this lady is???
Some of you will know here by all the gorgeous die cuts she uses on her cards.

Then we went on to using the corners.

Sample cards using the techniques:

On Sunday I went back for the sales day.

I so love this company from Scotland, Stampers Grove.
They just sell all the stuff I love and it's well worth having a look at them on line here.

 Ooooh...Paper Artsy stamps...lovely!

Loving the sample cards too.

Hope to see them again sometime.

Of course I managed to buy a few things elsewhere too Lol!
Now all that has got to make you smile, it did me!

And this Sunday I'm off to the Doncaster Dome for another craft show, can't wait!

Hope you have a great weekend too and
 thanks for stopping by.

By the way did you guess who my crafty friend was?
Her blog is here:
If you guessed you will already know what great cards she makes and if you didn't you are in for a treat!

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
