WOYWW # 463 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Now this must be one of the worst messes ever!

I've finished off all my samples for the Craft Barn and I'm trying to have a complete reshuffle.

Sadly if you're not aware the shop is closing as the owners have decided to retire so I'm going to have a rest from the DT stuff and have a tidy up then possibly look for another company if anyone will have me Lol! though I am still doing the Crafty Cardmakers challenges.

Anyway if you're interested there will be loads of bargains on the site as Sandy is selling the lot.
At the moment there is a 20% discount off everything but this will gradually increase as the weeks go on.
I know we don't normally advertise stuff here but didn't want you all to miss out on a bargain if there is something you want find it here.

Anyway back to the desk.

Samples from my weekend away at Newark.

I had a go at a dirty pour which I've been wanting to do for some time and I'm sure there will be more of this to come.

Naturally had to buy a few things.

Sorry my post is a bit longer than usual but I'm all done now.
Who knows I might even get tidied up before next week.
I need to pass on some old stash to friends or a charity shop as space is getting to be a problem so better get on with the sorting.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Amazing cards, love them - you were very busy! Of course you had to have a little spend... would have been rude not to.. Aren't those Lavinia hares gorgeous! I love them. Sad indeed about the Craft Barn, I did have a quick browse of the sale the other day. Helen #2

Beautiful colors you are using on your cards So sad to see so many businesses closing. We have a so many clothing stores closing their shops also. I really have enjoyed seeing the fun Paperartsy stamps. Hard to find here in the states. Thanks for sharing you fun. #11

That is amazing stash Angela. Sorry to hear that The Craft Barn is shutting; I've had some great bargains from there over the years. Will go and check out the sale. Have a good week and good luck with the sorting. Sarah #17

Afternoon Angela. You certainly had a lot of fun at Newark - the bought items are great fun - enjoy trying them all out! The cards you made are lovely - the colours are great. No idea what a dirt pour is - but the results are good!!
Take care. God bless.

Dirty pour?! Lol, that made me snigger (sorry, infantile sense of humour) The result looks like marbling, it's very effective! Glad you've been having fun splashin colour around :-D

Intrigued by your dirty pour! I too have enjoyed the Craft Barn DT but am looking forward to having the freedom to do my own thing for a while. Who knows might put myself out there for another DT sometime in the future. Meanwhile I shall follow your crafty exploits here xxx

Blimey... when you say you bought a few things... I am yet to try the dirty pour but it looks like you need so much paint to do them!

What a great collection of a "few" things! Never heard of a dirty pour, interesting. You may need to elaborate a bit. LOL! Great cards! Have a wonderful week!

Hi Angela, ooh that is always a shame when a store closes. there seems to be more of that old enough to retire thing going around (even here) I love the cards and background you made and the gal whose getting a shower under her umbrella made me grin. ~Stacy #33

You have to break a few eggs to make an omelette! Plough on and there will be a tidy finish! You got quite a haul didn’t you, how fun. ‘Tis a shame about the Craft Barn, but I wish them a very peaceful and happy retirement, honestly running a shop and online business is suchh hard work, I wouldn’t take it on even with a gun held to my head! Like the MDF light bulbs very much.

Hi ya Angela, such a shame about the Craft barn, but I too wish them a happy retirement. I'm sure there will be plenty of DT positions around but enjoy the break whilst you can.
Great card creations and that dirty pour looks fab. Glad you had a great weekend, my oh my did you BUY!! I'm struggling with space and no motivation to sort old stash out, I'm creating an indoor craft mountain hee hee..
Wishing you Sunshine & Creativity Hugs Tracey xx

How sad that the Craft Barn is closing. I'll keep my eyes open for any DT calls for you, Angela. Have you tried That's Crafty? I'm not sure if they have a call out at the moment but I know they have DT members all over the place using their products. Thanks for visiting yesterday! I finally have some time to return visits. Enjoy the rest of the week! zsuzsa #5

Oh god, I've just come back to your post after shooting over to the Craft Barn. £50 lighter - but who needs to eat anyway. Thank you for the heads up. Such a shame to see another shop go though.

Your desk is one of those that I can imagine actually being massive but I imagine you sat there squeezed into whats left of the space - I love it!

Sorry I'm so late to visit - am in a mad panic as end of year at uni looms and I'm SO not ready.

Hi Angela! The "Dirty Pour" looks intriguing! Lots of nice, fun new toys to play with! Your cards look great! So sad about the store closing. We lost our local stamp store, and the next closest one in Toronto, so now I rely on Michael's and online. I would rather have a store to go to! Sorry I'm so late, thanks for your visit! Lindart #29
