WOYWW - 871- What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Playing with the Funky Fossil papers that I showed you last week.

When I'm not feeling my best I find that these collage grids quite relaxing, just ripping up paper and sticking it down without thinking.
Just take three different papers and use every bit no matter how small.
I finished them off with some silver ribbon but you can be sure more will happen here soon.
I often cut them out when I need a quick card and use them as toppers with a sentiment or an image to finish them off.

I started feeling a bit more like myself this week and so spent a bit more time at the desk.

I have finished (I think) the Valentine card.....but the one who will receive it wont see it here so no worries.

I used the stamps from the Creative Stamping magazine and coloured them with Tim Holtz watercolour pencils.
The heart ballon die is one I got from Temu and the falling hearts is a die by Sizzix.

I found some other heart dies in my stash and used those to decorate the inside of the card.
I couldn't help but put Snoopy onto one of the rotating dies, bit obsessed with it at the moment but it just adds a bit more fun to a card.
The spotty papers are from my stash, I think they were Crafter's Companion.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and visit the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Ah Snoopy! Such a throwback for me. Adorable card. You are almost always the last person ho has appeared on the WOYWW list before I dash off for knitting, so I will do so with a smile on my face. And the collage grids are fab, really like the B&W papers - shame technology hasn't caught up to make the silver more...silver :).
Happy pre-Knitting WOYWW!

Snoopy makes for a gorgeous Valentines card, I especially love the inside, so much detail! I wish I lived nearer to you, I’d ask you for a collage lesson, I love the effect so much but it doesn’t come natural to me at all. I could do with some tips!!

You were right! I found my post randomly featuring on Jan 14th! Your little torn paper collages are fab and I love what you have done with hearts and Snoopy! x x Jo 🌈

I haven’t bought anything from Crafters Companion for ages, but I like the mono papers. I have some 6 x 6 which are similar. I do find the thick scrapbook pads too heavy for collage. I tend to use most of mine for making journals. Hugs Angela #12

I’m so glad to read that you’re feeling a bit more like yourself this week A, it’s reassuring! Also to see you using papers that scare me to death in a way that sort of breaks them down and makes them less scary is such a good thing, very inspiring for me, as usual. Your Valentine is gorgeous, who doesn’t love Snoopy anyway, bunt twice in one card and once rotating, it’s enough to make all crafters swooon, I m sure your Life Love will realise too! Made myself laugh at the thought of you sticking on the falling hearts….till I looked properly! Turns out it’s a really nice die!

Sorry you've been under the weather hope you are feeling much better now. Super Valentine's card (I forgot to share mine!) Love what you did with the 3 papers when you weren't feeling like much else. I still haven't watched the BB Bash videos I feel it is too much like last year when I gave up too. Not getting hung up about it this time though. Hugs BJ#9

Love the card Angela, but my star of the week for your desk is definitely those collage grids. Not at Mum's as I have a rotten cold and didn't want to inflict it on her. Making quick visits between samples. Stay safe and happy belated WOYWW. Sarah
