Ali-Craft Workshop with Hels Sheridan.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

We had a brilliant day with Hels Sheridan at the Ali-Craft Workshop on Saturday and I have a few photos to show you.

Hels is here waiting to get started.

And of course we all gathered round the Teacher Lol! for the first set of instructions.

Sorry I can't give you full instructions for the making but that wouldn't be fair on Hels but I have included a good selection of photographs.

I decided to use a pink, purple and blue for my project.

Once this was complete we went on to the tag.

Hels offered us lots of gorgeous techniques to use and explained everything fully.

Next we worked on the rose.

Cutting and gluing the pieces in order to build up a 3D flower.

I must say Hels is very good at giving clear and concise instructions.

Butterflies were next which you can see below.

And these are the colours I used to decorate my butterfly.

Finally a few examples of what we made though some of them are not quite finished at this stage.

Hels example.

These are my efforts.
Not quite sure what else I want to add to it yet.

I think it's great how so many people can work from the same starting point and the finished pieces look so different.

Well that's it for now.

Back soon and happy crafting,

Angela xXx

Addendum!

All finished so here it is:

Hope you liked it.

Happy crafting,
Angela x

It looks as if you had a great time with Hels, Angela. What gorgeous tags - yours are fabulous! You learnt some great techniques there. Glad you had a good day.

Hiya Angela, Sorry to be returning your visit so late, life has been hectic here. We haven't made it to Lincoln on our boat yet, we are rather reluctant to go out on the Trent that far up to get to River Wytham, but maybe in a couple of years time.
I'm very jealous that you went to the show at Doncaster, it sounded brilliant, and that card you made at the workshop is beautiful. Might try to do something similar when I have the time,
