WOYWW 317 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain what it's all about.

And this is what's on my desk today...

This is one of my five sewing machines but is only used for sewing paper stuff.

This is the Masterboard Gloria sent me for June and I should have the project finished by now Lol! Oh Well!!

The grey sketchbook will have the Masterboard mounted on the front when completed.
The sheet at the front is the map for the papercraft show I went to at the weekend.

I will post the finished journal cover when completed.

So that's it really, nice and quick just how we like it.

Happy woyww and hoping you have a great crafty week,

Angela xXx

You've certainly got a lot going on - I love the little sewing machine, so cute and such a good idea to keep one just for paper - I find I get through my needles really quickly sewing paper. I love the masterboard your friend sent you, and can't wait to see what you do with it!
Hope you have a great week,

That master board you are working on is gorgeous. I love the greens, and that black stitching looks great on it. Is it bad to use the same machine for sewing fabric and paper? I just got a new sewing machine and had an old one that I was giving away, but may keep it for paper. Happy WOYWW! #39

5 machines: perhaps a peak at all of them is in order for all of us desk snoopers. BTW, saw a photo of you while visiting around on another blog. Great photo of the two of you. Diane #34

Loving that colorful masterboard. Thanks for the visit. Your desk looks like you are enjoying your projects. And that is always fun. Enjoy the papercraft show. And have a fun week.

Wow, Angela, I had NO idea you could make a masterboard with anything other than stamps. Color me impressed. BTW, I mostly use my ONE sewing machine to sew paper to paper. So, it's good to know you have more than one you can use for this rather demanding (on your machine) job.

Thanks for visiting while I slept. Happy WOYWW from # 3

That masterboard looks like a lot of artsy fun to do. I am showing my ignorance in saying I have never heard of a masterboard swap..but I now wish i was in one..lol.. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier <3

What a fab masterboard on your desk Angela, I have one of those little machines in a cupboard and i really should use it as I don't want to use my best machine for paper and I end up sewing by hand! hugs Carole Z X

I'm so glad someone else has more sewing machines than me. I can't seem to part with any of them. My sewing machine from the 1980's is the only one we sold because it was in a big cabinet and I just didn't have a space for it. But I still wish I could've kept that one too! Happy WOYWW! Five sewing machines?!? Wow, that's a lot but then I suppose it's left over from your teaching days. Do you use them all? I've got a desire for an over locker but don't know if it would get sufficient use for the money......

Five sewing machines - that's worse than my six pasta machines.
It was great to see you and have a real good chin wag at weekend.

The masterboard is fabulous! And that is one nice looking sewing machine! Hope the papercraft show didn't cost you too much in spending. I can so easily spend more than my budget. Happy WOYWW!

Just saw your picture on Neet's blog. Looks like you had a good time. Was it a good papercraft show?
What a cute little sewing machine! I only have one sewing machine and it certainly does not like to sew paper. I don't seem to get the tension right.
The masterboard is stunning!
Have a great week,

What a dinky little sewing machine, Angela! It reminds me of my new little craft iron. Just the thing for a busy desk! (Five sewing machines? Now that's just greedy lol lol!!) Love the new masterboard, and I look forward to seeing the album cover.

I made a masterboard yesterday!

Amazing desk - love all the detail and that masterboard is fabulous!

The masterboard is amazing, I love the colors and all the details, it makes me think of an undersea landscape/water. I too love sewing in my journals/on paper but I only have one (old, big and heavy!) sewing machine. This little machine of yours looks perfect for paper-creativeness. Enjoy your day (stay cool!) and love from the Netherlands, Marit #25

Thanks for your return visit, Angela, and I'm glad you like my masterboard. I'm planning on making some quick cards with it - several events coming up requiring cards and not a lot of energy to make complicated ones at the moment lol! I fully accept all your justifications for having 5 sewing machines ROFL!! You've certainly made your case! As a teacher I can well imagine how much easier it would be, having different machines dedicated to different purposes, especially if it involves altering the tension etc. I love your dinky little paper-sewing one and haven't seen one like that before. My new machine will do embroidery but it's not a dedicated embroidery machine. I still haven't really got to grips with it yet and it's much more complicated than my old one which died last year after 40 years' faithful service!
