WOYWW 378 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Now I hear you say this is not the usual desk and you would be right!
I've taken my mum and dad away for a couple of days but naturally I have something good to read for those quiet moments and just in case of bad weather some stamped stuff to colour in. So far it is still sat there unused...... I'm pleased to say.

So that's me done for today.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to though it may take me a bit longer today as I'm sure you will understand duty calls!
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Lincoln Steampunk Festival 2016.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
I can hardly believe it's that time again but I am here to show you the photographs from this year's Steampunk Festival here in Lincoln. This is the 8th year that this event has taken place.
If you don't know about it, it's called the Asylum because that's where they base themselves at the old Asylum. Very well titled I think as they are all quite mad, Naturally!

This has to be one of my favourites from today.

The streets were very busy when I arrived and quite sunny though I think the lady with the umbrella might need it for a different type of weather now as it has started raining.

A little entertainment is called for.

These two were lovely and so friendly.

And the Plague doctor is here just in case anyone turns ill Lol!

Don't you just love this ladies hat?

And if you need it there is shopping too for all those Steampunk lovers.

Finally for today, the vehical that all Steampunks need.
Looks like an ordinary van from the outside but inside.... far from it!

It's amazing what these people get up to and the time they must put in to making these things.

That's it for today but I have lots more so will be spreading them out over the next few days but if you want more info about the event you can find it here.

Hope you enjoyed looking and will pop back for more photographs from the Asylum.

Have a great week,
Angela xXx

Friday Fun Day with Smiles

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Now what about this for a bit of lopping.

We have a Japanese Acer in the front garden and I decided to prune it but I really should have photographed it before I started. As you can see there was a lot to come off this little tree!

It is looking much nicer now you can see the trunk and branches again.

This is nothing to do with the tree but thought you might like him. We have lots of these tiny frogs in the garden but they normally hop off before I can photograph them. Cute or what!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Have a great weekend,

WOYWW 377 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

So here is my desk for today.
Oops sorry that was the other day, been sorting out the exploding box my friends, what a mess!

So not too bad now, though the box has filled up again, in fact it hardly looks any different from here!

Busy making some quick cards today using up some old papers that I coloured ages ago.
Finnabair rust paint just at the back there as I am working on another shrine but you will have to wait for that. To the right of it is a small blue bottle which is Pebeo Drawing Gum, very useful. A bottle of Gesso to the left, can't be without that! Otherwise just the usual.

I will post the finished cards when they are ready.

So that's me done again, for today.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday for Crafty Cardmakers # Challenge 171.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with more leftover Masterboard for Crafty Cardmakers.

Bec is hosting our By or Under the Sea challenge. We want to see what you can come up with that is either an underwater scene or a coastal/beach scene.

As usual You can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to just be cards, as long as it meets the challenge, and doesn't exceed the 15 total challenges entered rule!

We are sponsored for this challenge by:
WOODWARE CRAFT COLLECTION
There will be a prize of £12.00 to spend at your favourite Woodware stockist, either in store or on-line.

Here is the card I have made to tempt you.

The leftover section is the blue card on the inside which had originally been coloured with distress inks and some light stamping which made a good background for the Sea theme.

I used a variety of stamps to create the under sea theme. Don't you just love those tentacles!

As well as the Masterboard I also used Kanban Industriana papers, the dies are by Tim Holtz and Marianne, stamps by Joy, Marianne and Tim Holtz.
Finished the inside and outside with the addition of Stickles Glitter glue.

I would love to hear your comments about this project and many thanks for stopping by.
Happy crafting,

Angela x

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Delicious Doodles Challenge: All creatures Great and Small.
Mixed Media World Challenges #  17 Summer/sea/Nautical.

Some nice walks with friends. What could be better!

Mmmmm now which way were we supposed to go?

Ahhhh! home at last!
I wish!

This is Riseholme Hall near Lincoln.

And a few photos by the lake.
Gorgeous reflections, very arty.

Walk On! Walk On!

This is part of Nettleham, a small village again near Lincoln and it's gorgeous.
There is a brook that runs through the village.

Very pretty.

These two seem to get everywhere!

Hope you enjoyed joining us in this very pleasant walk around a gorgeous part of the Lincolnshire Countryside.
