Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".
If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.
So here is my desk for today!
I have loads of wool rovings from when I used to do wet felting and thought it would be nice to do some needle felting so to get me started I've bought these two kits which have really good instructions and all the stuff you need to make the hares so here goes! I will obviously let you see how I go on with these.
- You may also notice the leaflet relating to Gelatos as I've been using those this week.
- Some old wooden block stamps on the left. I really need to make more use of some of the older stash.
- Just below those is a packet of Paper clay with a butterfly mould on top which I have also used this week.
- Gesso bottle towards the back which is always in use.
We've just started the new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers if you're interested.
So that's me done for today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.
I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Morning!! I shall have to post a picture of my needlefelt mouse (cue hysterical laughter, it's just a blue blob which took AGES). I thought I'd try needlefelting as something I could do while watching telly but the noise of the needele going in and out offends OH so that didn't last five minutes. Still have a ton of wool. Gelatos - I keep looking at mine and wondering exactly why I thought they were any different to the array of product I already have. Will watch with interest! Happy WOYWW Cindy #19
I've got a needle felting hare kit somewhere - it was a present ages ok and I've never got around to making it! I adore the colours in your card, really gorgeous!

Lots of different techniques this week. Look forward to seeing how you get on with the hare. Sarah #15
Hi Angela, love the card. LLJ will be after that Hare, lol. My son had a go at doing some needle felting back last year, and made me a penguin. He did say his fingers have never been so sore & full of holes! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #3 XxX
The hare kit is gorgeous and I look forward to seeing how you get on - I had no idea you could buy kits like that. I love the card too - such pretty colours.
Have a great week,

Hi Angela. Have fun with those gorgeous looking kits!! Great to treat yourself a little... Well done - the card is lovely. I like the colours together.
Take care. God bless.

I never liked doing needle felting as I am allergic to the wool. I just love what people make with wool felting. SO now you have a good time with a new winter hobby.

I have seen some gorgeous felting projects but have never tried it. Hope you post your hare when completed! Busy desk! Have a great week!

Oh that’s Hare is fab, wonderful over sized ears, good for you for go8ng back and using up....am very bad at that. I love and miss wood mounted stamps, use mine as often as I can. I’ve somehow managed to miss the challenge site, will trip over there today, as I plan to be at my desk!
Hi Angela, Lovely card.
Looking forward to seeing how the hare comes out. Might treat myself to the kit, although I have never done felting.
Thanks for sopping by my blog.

Hi Angela, Oh Man that rabbit is going to be so cool when you are done with it. :)
The card is very cool too with the Dimension all the elements have. :) ~Stacy #28
I'll be watching for your progress on the hares, Angela - we have a large group of felters here in town, and I'm amazed at what they create! Excited to see your work...
Oh the grey hear felting kit looks great, never done that although my maiden name was HARES! Thanks for the visit BJ#8
We love needle felting so please don't forget to show us what you do! x Jo
Thanks for your visit earlier - no going out for me.... far too cold!

Hi Angela, thanks for your visit. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished hare. The card is lovely, I'll try and pop over to the challenge. I entered a few some months ago, and enjoyed creating cards for them. Thank you for the link. Have a lovely week, Heather x #31
Looking forward to seeing the finished hare. I have a quarter completed needle felted squirrel kit lurking somewhere!

Hi Angela, really sorry to be so long replying to your lovely comment - I've had a really busy week and exhausted in between, and also having boring Internet problems - really slow, pics not loading properly etc. Not sure if it was due to the bad weather but it's still really slow at times even though all the snow has gone now. Anyway, thank you, and I'm glad you like my new rack and my purple piece! Looking forward to seeing your needle felting efforts. I haven't done any felt for ages...
Happy very belated WOYWW,
