Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".
If you don't know what this is all about then please visit Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.
So here is my desk for today!
The little brown book holds all the birthday dates so you can guess that I've been working on, some birthday cards.
I've also been sorting out some stuff in the cabin and found some old punches that I haven't used for ages which gave me an idea for using up some of those left over pieces of patterned paper that we just can't throw away.
You'll get to see these soon.
Other than that I've finished the Baby Journal.
.
So that's me done for today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and visit the other desks.
I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
happy crafting,
Angela x

Happy too hot WOYWW
The baby journal turned out so lovely - no babies expected in my extended circle at the moment so no excuse to make one - maybe one day. Honestly, everytime I see your steampunk dogs it makes me smile...

That baby journal is gorgeous, so much detail to look at and the 1st birthday card at the end is a touch of genius, love it! I have a ton of birthdays in the next six weeks so have been busy getting everything ready before my eye op!

You've made a great job of the baby journal. It will be much loved I'm sure. Happy crafting - bit cooler here today - slight breeze which is lovely. x x Jo 🌈
Wow, the Baby Book looks wonderful! What a treasure! Have a great week, keep cool if you can, Lindart #11🍧🍨
WOW amazing baby journal - love it. Had to look up Slow Stitching as I knew what I thought it was as opposed to embroidery and I was more or less right.... embroidery is a technique focused on creating a specific, predefined image or motif, whereas slow stitching is a meditative practice where you stitch intuitively without worrying about the final product......I love the freedom but still have an embroidery background so it's a bit more stitch focused for me. Using up lots of scraps of thread on this project too. Hugs Bj#2
It's so much fun to rediscover old tools and art materials to use in your work. Happy WOYWW!
Lovely journal and the birthday card is fabulous. I I so so satisfying when you finish a project. What sort of stuff do you order from Temu? I must admit this is really the first time I have been dissatisfied. I spent a day going through the little books of strips and the other little books sorting them into good; possible; and you must be joking! 🤣🤣
What a fabulous baby journal Angela. Love the idea of finishing with a card for baby's first birthday. Stay cool and happy WOYWW. Sarah
