Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Here is the card I've made using one of my Masterboards.

There have been lots of projects around using this technique where you use a die to cut into the top card revealing the one below. Don't know if it's been done before with black card and I thought it would work quite well over this Masterboard so had to give it a go.

I used Tim Holtz  Mixed Media 2 Thinlits die to cut the black card and then embossed the card with a Embossalicious die and rubbed over it with gilding wax.
I also cut out the flowers using the Thinlits Wildflowers die and the sentiment from Celebration Words.
I completed the card with gold brads and other elements from my stash and mounted the whole thing onto a black card blank.

Hope you like it and happy crafting,

 Angela x

Hi Angela, I love this and it really works with black. I like the way you embossed after cutting. I'm going to try that and the overlaid wild flowers look lovely. Barbxx

Stunning. I love the black over the top of the colour - almost oriental. Thanks for joining in at Crafty boots Challenges this time.
