WOYWW-599-What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!
I had to smile as you can just see the pendulum on the cuckoo clock swinging towards the desk.

Now what have we got today!
Well I'm working mostly on Christmas cards here and back to my old desk in the house.
I am using this desk mostly for card making and the cabin for all the mucky jobs but also a place to store and organise my stash so that I can actually access it rather than having it pushed away somewhere and never used or at least that's the plan!

I'm using some Card-io stamps and stencils.
You may be able to see towards the back on the left that I have the new Tim Holtz stamps and dies called Distinguished. It has lots of male styled hats and an umbrella and watch, that kind of thing.
I always find cards for men difficult and hope these will help but I also think they will mix well with some of the other stamps too.
I think I need to sort through the exploding box again as it is starting to look rather unstable!
Other than that I have some Stickles Glitter glue towards the back of the desk, some distress ink and a packet of wax paper.

Obviously I couldn't leave without showing you the results of my project from last week and here it is all finished.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Stunning project Angela it looks amazing. I ordered the dies to go with the Snarky Cats but don't have the other stamp set with the limited edition dies so didn't bother with those. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #2

Oooh, that finished project is gorgeous, so steampunky and dramatic! I love that fact that you have various crafting areas, so do I!! Ha, taking over the world, one glue stick/crochet hook at a time.

Hi Angela, gorgeous project! Looks so rich.I do like Card-io stamps, especially for Christmas scenery. Male cards can be so awkward, I agree, I either go with a music theme,( mainly for younger ones),I have a couple of motorbike stamps which are useful, or my default is often my Stampscapes stamps. Have a lovely week, Stay safe, Hugs, Shaz #10 X

Oh my - so glad you shared. That is an absolutely stunning project.

I was so stunned by the visual I think I read Tim Holtz Distinguished as Tim Holtz Disgusted. Trying to imagine what those stamps might look like....

LOL!

Happy WOYWW!

Wow, that looks great! I think I have one of those boxes and a similar dragonfly charm, so I could copy it - or at least draw inspiration from it. It looks really good! I can't remember if I have heard of Creative Craft Academy. I think I may be mixing them up with someone else, but I'll definitely check them out! Have fun playing Angela! xx zsuzsa #29

Thanks for the link to the Creative Academy, Angela! I bought one of their workshop bundles on offer - £9.99 is not bad for 3 workshops (the one with the vintage camera) - I just wanted to see the process and I have most of the supplies she used. I didn't realise it was the same Anna who runs CraftBox!

PS. I've also bought one of those mystery boxes from CraftBox that you showed us a couple of weeks ago! Fingers crossed I get some nice goodies too!

Hi Angela just taken a closer look at that stunning mixed media piece, really beautiful, you've made good use of those snippets. I need to use up some of my things next year, way too many things hovering gathering dust.
I agree about the male cards, difficult all round, I mainly end up edging towards the funny side of things. Hope you will make good use of the TH stamps.
Happy WoywW Tracey xx

Stunning project, Angela - I'm drooling all over the computer. And what a great photo of the clock pendulum pointing our your decidedly-way-too-tidy desk. :D Happy week, my friend! xo

HI Angela, sorry for the belated visit. I LOVE your finished project, it's really gorgeous. Your desk is as stuffed as mine I think - have you ever played Tetris? My son says my desk has been "tetris-ed". Have a great week. Annie C

Oh wow, Angela, that mixed media box is an absolute triumph! It's beautiful! I love the colours and all that gorgeous texture. If I had two rooms to work in, I would be constantly running back and forth between them because whatever I wanted to use would always be in the other one!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Nice busy desk! Your project is absolutely awesome!! I always have trouble with men's cards as well, so I have a few top hats, and old cars, and deer...Thanks for your visit, stay safe and have a great week! Lindart #30

Sorry I’m late. Last weeks project is a stunner! I’m very impressed at your two desks theory, makes perfect sense to me. Mind you, my messy crafting amounts to the odd squirt of spray ink and occasional smudge of something dimensional through a stencil, so I guess I don’t really qualify for a second area. Wouldn’t stop me if I had the chance though! Am sorry to have been apparently silent over the questions raised for Zoom...not deliberate, rather I forgot to allow comments after 24 hours on that post and then of course...I forgot to look at those waiting for moderation. I’m going to have a mother test run this afternoon, but my faithful guide pig tells me the app is even easier than using the url, so I’m sure you’ll be fine. Will report any issues over next couple of days if there are any!
