Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi all.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week. It's been very busy but I will try to keep this as short as possible.

Saturday went to the craft show at Doncaster and met up with my friend Elizabeth. Reluctantly I have given her a canvas I made some time ago for Tracy at Lavinia Stamps but I know she will love it so it's gone to a good home and here it is:

Him-in-Doors took the dogs for a walk... he has his uses.
Apparently he met a lady with a girly dog that Stanley took a fancy to so he stopped to talk to her, that's the lady of course not the dog, just as well... dogs can't talk though they do have plenty to say in other ways.

The bit that I'm getting to really made me smile, apparently whilst they were talking she happened to say that the Summer was here and she couldn't find the kids wellies!!!! Love it!
Not what you expect to wear in the summer but maybe you do in this country!

Lots of people at the craft show including Create and Craft.
Spent too much as usual though there were some good bargains.

Back home again.

Pond is looking pretty good.
One of the koi managed to jump out the other day despite the net but luckily I found him before the heron arrived and he seems okay. Sorry no photo as I was more concerned in getting him back in the pond, stupid fish!

Poppies are looking nice, including the ones at the Lincoln castle.

Caught up with Housework Sunday.

Went to see my mum and dad on Monday and out with friends on Tuesday....it's all go!

Wednseday was a day of rest supposedly! I had cards and stuff to make but ended up going with a friend to sign up at the Health Club.

Thursdsay was Hair Day this week and then food shopping and then off with friends to buy new tiles for their bathroom ( I know  a nice man that sells them) and so to...
Friday again and we are off to see a friend that my husband used to work with but I am going for an early morning to the Health Club first so just hope I'm not too shattered to go out.
I will get round to visiting you all later in the day if I can keep my eyes open Lol!.

You will be pleased to know the fish is okay. He had bumped himself about a bit on the net but the marks are going now and he's just as greedy as usual so there's not much wrong there.

So that's my fun week.

 Thanks for stopping by.
Let me know if they make you smile.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too if you like.

Thanks for stopping by,

Angela x

Have a great weekend everyone.

I simply adore that canvas. Elizabeth is quite lucky to get it.

The poppies are adorable. Are they the ones from the castle that were supposed to be sold last year? They look similar because I saw them on several blogs, including Helen's (Stamping by H).

Guess I've been gone enough that I have no idea about the fish, but glad he is OK. Hope you have a great Friday and wonderful weekend.

Wow what a busy week, I'm feeling tired just reading about everything you've done lol. Fabulous canvas don't think I would want to give it away either xxx

I have of course zoomed on on your gorgeous canvas....I love it Angela. What a lucky friend you have :-) I also love the poppies....I scattered seeds in our garden but they have failed to grow this year....maybe next year?
Have a great week.
Hugs,

holy busy-ness Angela!!
Ouch about the bump on the fishes head and love the netting! We had a ton of Koi at the beginning of the year in our pond, but a couple of Kingfishers moved in and set up nest- I counted 6 flying around chattering the other day! So, the poor bright orange ones are taking cover as much as they can! We are almost in drought here so the pond has fallen extremely low!

What is a wellie?

And my word- is that all embroidery on that canvas? I love Livinia's stamps anyway, but you absolutely have showcased them beautifully on the piece!! Gorgeous!!!

Your poppies are beautiful as are those at the castle- one of my fav flowers! Thank you for my morning read!! hugs,Jackie

Gosh you have been busy! I smiled at the stupid fish jumping out of the pond! I laughed at that more than at the wellies. That is so aweful! Summer is here: get your wellies out!
The canvas is gorgeous. I'm sure your friend will love it.
Those poppies are absolutely beautiful.
Have a lovely week,
Blessings,
Lisca

Hi Angela. It sounds like you had a nice week.
Thanks for telling me how much you enjoy your pond. I was worried about keeping that up if I get the house. There are goldfish and join, one of which is solid black and they will be taking him with them. Glad your journey didn't get caught!
The poppies are so beautiful.

I can see why you were reluctant to give that canvas away! It looks absolutely stunning - so fine and detailed! I'm sure your friend will treasure it for ever! :)

Holy smokes I'm tired just reading about your week! Love your canvas and glad it has gone to a good home and the silly fish do realize they need water to survive? 😀 Glad you found him before the herons had a snack and that you have a more restful week ahead! Deb xo

My word, Angela, you had a week to rival one of mine! Busy, busy. I loved the little canvas you gave to your friend. The craft show sounds good. I do miss my twice a year visits to those. I've not heard of one anywhere around here. Those poppies are wonderful. I laughed about the fish. We had koi in our pond back in UK and one day I found a huge one on our lawn, but it wasn't one of ours! I never did find whether he was just visiting, or whether the cats had brought him but no one was looking for a missing one. Glad your's is OK. Kate x
