I have a birthday card for you today that I made using up some left over Masterboard. I seem to have a collected of such paper and card so will have more of these to show you soon.
I have cut them up into squares with black mats on top of a silver and black panel.
Next I stamped several of the balloons (Stamp by Tim Holtz).
I don't need so many for this project but they may come in useful for a later project.
Cut one of these out and used a ball stylus tool to shape the balloon.
Just checking that it stands out enough.
Then stamped a sentiment onto cloudy velum paper.
And so for the construction.
I also decorated the inside by stamping the balloon down the centre of the page and adding a sentiment.
And there we are finished ready for my dad's birthday.
Hope he likes it and hope you do too.
Happy crafting,
Angela x

Great use of the left over masterboard Angela, the squares stand out beautifully. I love the sentiment, it suits the hot air balloon so well and the balloon looks fantastic in the centre fold. A great card for your Dad. Hugs, Anne xx

As always, I find your masterboards so visually rich. LOVE the card - so perfect for your dad!
Thank you for your lovely comment Angela, and sorry to get your mouth watering with my cakes lol! My new heat gun works a treat. The other one kept cutting out and running at half-speed, and then it packed up altogether. I've still got my original old one which is one of those really powerful ones that blows all your embossing powder away lol! - but it was useful in the interim till the new one arrived.
Have a great weekend.
