Hi, Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
Obviously lots of crafting and here is a peek of Monday's Masterboard project. If you want to see what I did with it you will have to pop back on Monday.
Apples are well on their way, we have Maypoled the trees this week as the apples are already getting too heavy for the branches and I haven't the heart to remove some of them.
Plums next.
Loads of strawberries. We have been eating these for breakfast, dinner and tea and still had to give some away but not complaining they are gorgeous. If I could be bothered I could make jam or strawberry tart but just been too busy Lol!
And my little friend is busy collecting grubs for the babies. Here he/she is watching me again and not, I think, impressed that I am watching him though he seems to be getting used to me as he doesn't fly off so quickly as he did or maybe he's just desperate to get the babies fed!
It's noticeable that his red tummy is not so smart and by the time the babies go he will probably look really raggy. It must be terrible to be so busy that you haven't time to look after your self Lol!
As you can see I am definitely getting the eye!
So that's my fun day.
Thanks for stopping by.
Let me know if they make you smile.
And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your smiles too if you like.
Thanks for stopping by,
Angela x

Hi Angela, I'm really liking your masterboard, cool colour and how wonderful to have fruit to pick, yummy strawberries too. But I have to say your busy little robin wins my smiles, love watching the birds myself. Enjoy your weekend cheers Robyn
Hello ANGELA! What a lovely master board! (I actually went back to read your previous posts)
Your garden is amazing! Lots of fruit! That is so good!
Your visitor is very cute. I'm really surprised he sits still for you to take a photo. Busy little thing. I remember what it was like to have babies....
Happy Friday,
Have a good week with lots of smiles,
Lisca
Oh, it looks like you might get a good crop of apples and plums Angela to match your great crop of strawberries - you are clearly getting more sun than we are!! xx
Hi Angela,
It looks like you might be making quite a few apple pies! I love strawberries and when I had a few plants I would go out and pick and eat, right there!
How nice to have a companion while you're out in your garden.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Kay
Love your bird friend. He did make me smile. I have several here that I fill feeders for... but the squirrels (5) seem to think I put the nummies out for them. LOL.
My peach trees look like your apple trees. They are loaded this year. My apples didn't do well at all. I think the deer got the 3 apples I had - 1 on each tree LOL Creative Blessings on your week! Kelly #32
Your masterboard looks fab, looking forward to seeing what you make with it. Totally jealous of your strawberries, the slugs are enjoying mine a little too much! Cara x
Lucky you to have apples, plums and strawberries. My raspberry canes were my favourite when I had a UK garden. Here I just buy from the abundance in the local markets and it is almost as fresh as picking my own!
Lovely too, to see the friendly robin and know that he/she has successfully raised a brood of babies. Kate x
