Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Lots of gardening!!!!! all of this came from the plants along the fence.

Tidy or what!

Maisie and Stan watching on.
Time they learnt how to garden Lol!

Pond next!
Everything is well grown at this time of the year and looks lovely but soon the weather will change and the plants will start to die off for their winter rest so it's time to clip them back and take out some of the overgrown parts or it would take over the whole pond.

Looks a bit sad now but that's life.

Still plenty to do yet and so far the weather is being kind.

If you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Angela x

It's that time of year, isn't it? It looks as though your garden is getting the same treatment that John is giving ours...RIP for the winter, and then start again in the spring. Meanwhile, winter creativity sets in - hurrah!

I do the pruning but him in-door comes out and clears it all away thank goodness or I would be absolutely don for!

Yes, time to clean up before the garden goes to sleep for the winter. I've been out in the garden too putting potted plants in the cold frame to hopefully survive the worst of the winter. I've also been taking cuttings for my granddaughter's new garden - hopefully they will take and survive through to the spring ready to be planted out then. I love autumn so this garden work is always a pleasure. Have a great weekend. Elizabeth xx

I am always amazed at the stack of debris I get after a stint in the garden! But it is worth it to se it all nice and tidy again. I know the grasses can be a bit invasive around the pond so you do have to be ruthless. they will all be back soon. At least you can sit back and smile at a job well done! Kate x

Well done Angela, it's a great feeling to spend a day or two in the garden for a good tidy up - you've done a super job and it's looking lovely, I'm envious that you also have a pond. Enjoy your weekend cheers Robyn

Wow! What a neat garden. It must be very satisfying to have all that done and dusted. Well done you! It's good that the weather was kind to you when you did all that work.
I like your sculpture that I saw lurking near the pond...
Sorry for the late comment. I've been busy yesterday preparing for Tracey's birthday party. (we had a belated birthday party for her last night which was a great success).
Thanks for your kind comments,
Have a great weekend,
Lisca

Amazing what you can achieve in a day Angela and it does look beautiful now! Shame about the grasses near the pond, but you are right, it needs to be cut back hard... Hope you are having a good weekend! Hugs, Anne xx
