WOYWW 585 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

You may be shocked at how tidy it is but I decided to have a bit of a clear up before I start something new, well you have to sometimes ..... right?
One of the exploding boxes is packed away and the other one is no longer at exploding stage.
I have my gloves and Gesso at the ready.

Now I know you may be hoping I'd got further than this but I have prepped the pebble with some Gesso so you never know I might get it done for next week.
Lots of you had ideas about what it might become but no body actually guessed what my plan is and no it's not going to be another car.
I'm not sure looking at it now that it would give you any better ideas but if I tell you it's something you might find in the sea.
That's all you're getting so far.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

I'm looking forward to seeing what it's going to be! The car was a great success - this time, could be anything from an octopus to a sea slug!!

Yes, we do need a tidy- up once in a while - I've been putting mine off for months now. Now what could that pebble be - something you find in the sea? My initial thought was a tiny desert island with a 3D palm tree stuck on it! I know it's not that, but it will be interesting to see what you do with it! Happy # 585! zsuzsa #21

I'm watching and waiting for the big reveal....maybe you saw me in the sea last weekend and it's going to be a big blob that looks like me? :-)

I am rubbish at guessing except it will be lovely ( your car was fab!) - my desk is also "reasonable" after a quick tidy last night - doubt it will last though. Have a lovely week. xx Soojay #22

Well I immediately thought a frog today but they don't live in the sea do they. An octopus or some fantastical fish from Nemo.
I had no idea about the Covid survey but I was the biggest whinge before I went for mine and the whole world knew. `Then afterwards I said what I thought, that it was easy and nothing to be afraid of, so I hope that helps others if they get called for the survey. Not sure I would get it far enough back in my throat and certainly would not be tickling my empty brain cell with the nasal one. (like the nurse did , she really went up and beyond) LOL.
Glad to see you so tidy and organised.
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

The first thing I thought of when I saw your rock was a big gaping mouth, so when you said it lives in the sea I'm thinking shark maybe? Whatever it is I know you will amaze me with it.
Hope you have a good week,

Cleared desk. Gloves. Gesso. Sounds like you are ready for action! No ideas what you could have planned so will be intrigued to see the results next week. Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, Cindy #2

Oooh you are a tease, Angela! You're going to keep us guessing right up till the last minute, aren't you! I still think it's a nose, though. A nose from the bottom of the sea.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Angela, that is indeed a VERY tidy desk and a VERY mysterious pebble - I still see a nice cheese scone, but that is probably because I am still on the diet :o) Have a fun week. Annie C #19

I'm going to try an octopus this time Angela! What a tidy desk...I always tidy up before starting a new project, even if I will be using some of the same 'stuff'...x.

Yes you really do have a neat desk. Mine looks awful! That's why I stay away from it. It will probably get better when autumn comes. Now in the heat I just do not bother to fix it ...
Have a great week!

Your rock is intriguing...when I look at it it has a face that looks like an electric eel...! I saw on your last WOYWW post the exploding box of stencils - how cool is that? So much fun in one box! Have a great week, thanks for your visit, Lindart #27

ooo I love a crafting mystery. I can't wait to see what you make. Every time I see your rocks I think of the bowl of rocks I have wanted to paint. Then somehow life gets in the way and I forget. Thanks for the visit and have a wonderful week.

Errr so funny - "something you might find in the sea" eh???
Well perhaps a Pebble???? Or maybe a starfish?
Anyway I will have a look for the blogger forum as you are right unless everyone says something they will assume it is OK. I mentioned the quietness of or churches practice live stream last week (PC speakers on FULL volume when I don't usually go over half way, couldn't hear it properly on phone or tablet either) but they seemed none the wiser but fortunately another person on our zoom meet backed me up - horrah! Thanks for visiting me BJ#17

Please can you tell me where to report new blogger difficulties.
thanks BJ#17

What a tease you are, Angela - that soon-to-be-sea-something will undoubtedly drive me bananas until the reveal! ;-)

I'm in shock Angela... such a clean desk and no exploding box... is it really you? I guess the pebble will become a shell or maybe a (have to look up the word... found two words) sea-urchin/angel-fish. Whatever it may become, have fun creating! Thanks for visiting my blog the other day, have a great weekend! Hug from Holland. Marit #8

I’m so late that I’ve read Friday’s post too and am delighted that your Mum is doing so well...nothing like some company form the girls to help out, either! Love that picture of you....your hairstyle looks very familiar! we were at a ‘do’ some years ago and a tall handsome younger man cam up and introduced himself. He was in his early thirties and doing something very successfully, cant remember what, and I put that down to the shock of him saying that I was his babysitter in Germany in the early 80s. Damn! Your desk does look exceptional, and I’m no nearer guessing the morphing of the stone, good grief I just cant see it! Enjoy it when you get to it!
