Crafty Cardmakers Challenge - 'Water'

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Josephine is hosting today and our challenge is 'Water'.

As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be cards, as long as it meets the challenge.

Hope you will join in.
And here is my project for the challenge:

I used a Michael Powell stamp with black ink and heat embossed this then coloured the images using watercolour pencils.
The background was a piece of waste card that I had stamped onto when making an earlier project and thought it might be useful as a background for this 'Water' based theme as it looks a little like bubbles.
The stamp by the way is by 'Carabelle Studio' and it's called 'Circles and
Dots'.

I always find when working on a project rather than cleaning a stamp, it's worth stamping onto a piece of spare card. This nearly always comes in useful for another design and often will inspire a project particularly when you are stuck for an idea which I know all about Lol!.

I also decided to add some die cut clouds, Seagulls and a text stamp.

I've placed this final photograph slightly sideways and you can see the design is quite flat so good for posting.

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with too.
 Happy crafty card making.
Angela x

I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges:
Make My Monday Challenge # 68 'Things with Wings'

I do like Michael Powell images - they're so beautifully quirky, but I haven't seen that one before. Beautiful card.

Beautiful, Angela! The colours are soft and pretty and the details are great. I love these Michael Powell stamps, I dithered when they came out and saw them run out of stock... xx

Lovely card Angela, reminds me of holidays as a kid (yes I am that old lol)
I find that my bits box never seems to go down cause like you I don't like to waste anything. As fast as I clear one bit of 'mopup' card I have 3 more to add to the pile. Oh well I'm having fun so who cares :O)
Hugs Kimx

Lovely card, Angela, and I'm with you on the use of stamps on scrap - a great way to use everything!
