Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
Remember this from last week?
My dear friends had lots of ideas about what this might be from, "turtle with it's shell wrapped", loved that one Kelly. Annie was quite close with "a tennis ball that had been pulled apart by the dogs" but came back with "the lawn mower did it" but still not there yet. Kate thought it might be "a small wasp nest", good idea but wrong! A nest? very close Kyla!
My dear friends you are so imaginative, I love you all x
It's a tennis ball which has had the outer covering removed by the Blue Tits.
Obviously they decided it would be nice and soft for the babies when they arrive.
Garden's coming along nicely.
Bonsai coming into leaf.
Strawberries need sorting as there are too many weeds so will have to get these dug out soon.
I've got the compost all ready to go in.
Cherry tree starting to flower though it's still quite young so it's unlikely we'll get much fruit yet.
Flowers looking nice in the sunshine.
Oh and we met John in the park the other day clearing out some rubbish by the weir.
He's the one who actually built it.
He is retired and did this as a hobby for himself though the council paid for the materials but he didn't charge for the labour, what a nice man.
We had a lot of rain the other week and we now have some additional ponds that aren't usually there but the ducks like it.
This last bit should make you smile, starting with
Stan giving you the sad eyes!
Maisie with a very short beard.
They've been for a haircut and apparently Maisie moved during the beard trimming and ended up having it rather shorter than usual, not sure she's impressed!
Stan wearing this weeks fashion accessory, the tail plaster!
Which he didn't even seem to notice.... that was until we took it off Lol!
Have a great weekend everyone and
thanks for stopping by.
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your smiles too.

Love the new doggy hair cuts....Milly had hers done this week too and it’s exposed her stripes....she has beautiful markings so will try to share them with you next week. Was the tail plaster from the clip? Ouch!
Your garden flowers are beautiful....isn’t it a lovely time of year?
Thanks for sharing with us all.
Hugs,
Annie x
Oh it's a balll or a bald ball haa haa!! That green fluff will be like a beacon woven into the nest. A beautiful garden and walk in the park, taking in the fresh air with every picture.
The dogs look ready for our Bank Holiday sunshine we have all been promised!! Fingers crossed & enjoy it.
Hugs Tracey xx
What a great post! The garden looks lovely, all ready for summer.
It was fun to have the guessing game about the fluff ball. Did you ever find the nest?
Your dogs look very smart with their beards trimmed. Maisie's shorter new look, looks rather good I think. And I had to smaile at the plaster. It must have been 'fun' trying to remove that. Poor thing.
I really liked Seeing the man who built the weir. Good man! I suppose you talk to him as you walk the dogs. He must be an interesting caracter.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
Your dogs have such expressive faces! That one of Stan is priceless.
You have some lovely flowers in your garden. What a lovely time of year this is.
How nice of that man to not only build the weir, but to maintain it too. Good for him!

Oh my goodness, the Blue tits were able to strip the ball like that? I guess anything for the babies right?
