Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I'm here but have to be honest that I have little to show you.
No idea where the week has gone as I've spent far too much time trying to get my Christmas cards made.

By the time we've walked the dogs and I've done my bits of housework I've got back to the desk though I did have a moment when I thought I'd had enough probably because there are other things I need to get on with but you'll see those soon as I think the C. cards are about done though I've not the writen the messages or filled in the envelopes so still more to do !!!

Had to show you these. My dear friend has been making these with her grandchildren. They are gorgeous.

Clever kiddies!

So I'll finish with some photos and funnies.

These are  my two best friends but no idea what they were up to but you can guess they were up to something.....as usual!

A friend sent us this and it really made me smile but glad it's not my car.

And a few dog funnies of course.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 808 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesdasy.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Still working on the Christmas cards.

The card above is a new Masterboard and the snowflake is by Colorado Craft Company, if you like it there are details relating to this on the monday post here:

I decided to have a little rest from the batch making cards and have been playing with this Sizzix die for a change.

There are lots of pieces to put together but it looks great when it's finished.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

You might have seen this before as I started it some time ago and then it got forgotten and I'm up to the stage of trying to get the C. cards finished so it seemed like a good time to get it out and use it.

A3 as usual and I started it with some heat embossed snowflakes and then added some Distress Oxide, more heat embossing and stencilling with glazes and inks, gradually building up the design.

Rub over the embossed areas when everything is done and the white on the snowflakes pops out as the colour is removed, love it.

It always seems a shame to cut into it these which is why I often scan and copy them but not this time as I wanted to retain the texture too.

So here's the first card I've made.

I love this stamp and die set by the Colarado Craft Company.

Stamped this on silver metalic card with black Distress Oxide and then heat embossed it.

Completed it with a sentiment from the set and Stickles Glitter glue but not sure it shows very well here.
I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Last weekend we had a trip to the Garden centre at Brigg, love it especially at this time of the year.....

These guys are so funny.

And it doesn't stop there.

So pretty.

Back to this week and
Tuesday morning was quite a surprise.

This is the front of the house.

And this is the back.

It's cold to say the least.

Just as well we got most of the gardening sorted.

Someone was enjoying the snow, Alfie loved it though Daisy decided she wasn't keen.

It has remained cold and not all the snow has cleared which Alfie is quite happy about.

A few smiles to finish off too.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Not very exciting as I'm still working on more of the same Christmas cards.

I did post them here on Monday but if you haven't seen them here is an example.

Still need to make a few more cards but I think it's time to move on to something different so we'll see.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

You may remember these from last week.

The Poinsettia Stamps are by 2 Red Robins and I've cut these ready to attach to the cards.

The next job is to apply some colour in the corner of the card blank using a blending tool and then stamp the poinsettia over them and add a sentiment
by Lou Withers and the fairy lights by Stampotique.
The stamped poinsettias give a bit more depth when you apply the fussy cut pieces.

And here is one of the completed cards. I've added the fussy cut stamped images, green poinsettia first and then the red one.
Try to arrange them uneavenly to maker them more interesting.

To finish the card I added Yellow Stickles Glitter Glue to the fairy lights and the flower stamens.

You can see here that I've made quite a few but still need more. It's not something I usually do but Christmas requires Batch making cards to get enough completed.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

It's been a quiet week here....not that I'm complaining and wasn't sure if I would have anything to show you but Alfie's here to welcome you.

I think he had decided the Laptop was taking up too much of my time so he decided to sit next to it to distract me.

He didn't seem to understand why I wanted him to shift! but oh that face!

We were back in the conservatory on Wednesday and what a lovely day it was though very chilly.

I think that is a real autumnal day.

My friends who were making Christmas cards with me last week gave me these lovely flowers.

And these beautiies are the new Postbox art. They are so cleverly done.

I love them so much that I photographed them at different angles to give you a good view of them.

Who ever makes these is very talented, they are beautiful.

Just a few dog funnies to finish.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
