WOYWW - 614

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I decided it was time to do something with the Washi tape that had sit on my desk for far too long so I've used some of it to create a Masterboard but that's as far as I've got right now but I will show you soon what the next plan is.

And a close-up for you.

Other than that everything is pretty much the same.
A set of Distress Oxide inks on the right next to my storage box of tools that I can't do without.
To the back is a tub of Texture Paste pens and spray bottles.
On the right is my tub of Gesso and behind it a small brown box which hold Stone Effect Pastes.

Earlier in the week I also had a play with the stencil and stamps that Chris gave me.

It looked like this when I applied the ink through the stencil.

And here it is with the stamp applied. I will let you see next week how I used this on my cards.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off for dog walking then I'll be back to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Addendum as asked for by Julia though most of them are rather old now.

Hope you like them xXx

My niece has taken my box of washi tapes for her school project. I’m glad they’re getting some use.
Hope the dog walking is a drier event than here Angela, it’s tipping down and we are off out to market later.
Take care

AT least you have used your washi tape creatively. Your mood boards always look fab. I started using my collection of tapes for all manner of things. My collection had grown to plague proportions.
Have a lovely week.

I have been trying to use my washi tape more and more but still it feels like a struggle. I tend to use it for two things, mainly - one, to hold down a die as I die cut, and not rip the paper with "real" tape and two to hold the end of the yarn onto the top of by ball winder when prepping a hank of yarn a and making centre-pull balls! Not the intended purpose, but just great for both things.

Always loving your masterboards..

Yep it's the same here...I am trying to use items untouched for a long time. And now I realize Washi could be in that group. I do use it for a binding in journals but love the idea you shared. Great mother's day cards, I do some for my 2 DIL's but USA is in May. Great fun with that stencil and stamp I know you'll make great items from that design. Enjoy a good week

The stencil reminds me of the retro look that Mary O'Neil (Hot Potato stamps) made years ago. She was frequently on the Carol Duval craft show here in the U.S. What beautiful cards!!
Have a wonderful day!

Like them? They are heart stoppers Angela, than you so much for sharing. Mine will definitely start with hand made backup ground for a change, no designer pp this time, you and Sarah are too inspiring! Like the way your work with the Chris stash is going too, but the washi master board is an amazing idea, love the pieced one, it will be so effective! Man, so inspiring!

You put those stamps to good use Angela, I knew you would. Love the washi tape, I don't think i've ever use my JD ones, something else unloved and in hiding. That's a great selection of Mother's Day cards each one adored i'm sure.
Hope you didn't get wet on the dog walk? It's been a miserable wet and windy day here. Happy WoywW Tracey #15 xx

What amazing washi tapes and I can't wait to see what you do with the boards from today. Striking stamp with the last master board Angela x. Wonderful cards for Julia to see ...love them all but the second one down is extra stunning x. I suspect Maisie, Stan and yourself have been blown around quite a bit this week? x.

Oh love the stencil and stamp, quite stunning. I've had to throw our most of my washi tapes as they wouldn't unstick they were so old! as for the vaccination, Hubby is having a rather bad reaction to his jab, knocked him for six from about 5 hours after it and the following 24 hours. He's been taking lots of pain meds but nothing stops him eating though - LOL. I'm still pondering it all as I can get nauseous even after a dental injection.
Thanks for the visit BJ#16

I love your masterboards, Angela, and your Mother's Day cards are beautiful. Thank you for your visit. I agree that crocheting the squares together is much better than sewing - I just wish the pretty pattern showed up better with the black yarn. I've got a red Norwegian cardigan that I shall have to try and remember to model next week! I hope you manage to get your mum home without too many problems.

Happy belated WOYWW,
