Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

What a week!!!!!
Mum was supposed to go home on Monday and wasn't feeling well so they kept her in the Nursing home for another day. Luckily they contacted us before we left.

We're still walking most days in the recreation ground as the park is a mess but they are getting on with the work so we had a walk round the other day to see how everything is progressing.

This is what happens after the morning walk.
Maisie certainly looks comfy.

Mud, Mud and more mud!

Not sure you can see this very well but it's a boat sculpture as years ago the lake had boats on it.

This is the plan for improving the water system for the fish.

Restoration Project info.

More statues.

And of course a few funnies to finish with.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

Angela x

Hi Angela, not been around much and even now should be in bed... lovely images the park will look great when finished sand on a sunny day as well, we’re wet this week too. Might be fine tomorrow I keep hoping and praying but since it’s not even a week can’t complain!

Sorry to hear about your Mum Angela...x. Maisie sure does look tired after her walk x. Thanks for sharing the photos and updates with the park. They look like they are getting on with it and hope with the drier weather there will be less mud x. As always thank you so much for the funnies, which always make me smile....laughed out loud with the last two x.

I'm sorry to hear your mum is again not feeling well. I hope she improves soon. It must be such a worry, especially as she lives far from you.
I smiled at Maisie after her walk. This is what i look like after a good walk!
I was able to read the info poster about the lake aeration. How interesting! It will obviously take a lot of time to see the proper effects of the new system, but the Uni is going to monitor it and it is very interesting.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

That park certainly is a mess right now, but the work is progressing well. I bet the mud will grow over really fast once the better weather comes. The boards all look very interesting. It is nice to know what they are aiming for with all the upheaval. I hope it doesn't put the swans off this year.
Maisie looks a bit cold and tired after her walk, but very comfortable where she is resting.
I hope mu is OK now. Kate x

Sorry to read about your mother, dear. I hope she's doing well and is home, now.

They are doing a LOT to that park and the pond. It is going to be not just beautiful, but eco-friendly too. So glad you took a few photos of the restoration (and mud, too).

Sorry I was so late visiting. I hope your weekend is going great, dear. I loved the funnies today, too.

Is there any animal that can look for comfortable than a pooch at rest? Maisie looks melted into the ground. :D Love your funnies and the walk 'round the neighbourhood, as always!
