Masterboard Monday - ' Use it or Lose it'

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with left-over Masterboards and decorative papers:

An old stamp set from Woodware.
Normally I would have finished these Christmas cards before now, I like to make a few at the beginning of the new year but been away and then had a stinker of a cold so got a bit behind with it.

I've applied colour to the card with a blending tool and splattered water over it to give the faux bleach effect then stamped the main part of the design.
These Stamp really well too.

I added some of the tiny leaf stamps around the edge and in the centre, some in matching colours to the background and some in black.
They are so pretty.

Then attached the circles which I had punched out to fit. You can get a die to match the circles but using a punch is quicker because of the number needed.
Use a fairly large scoring tool to create a curved shape to the circle and attach them using silicone glue (Pinflair works well).

And a sentiment which came with the set.
More of my 'Use it or Lose it' campaign as I mounted the finished design onto some Holographic card which has been in the cupboard for years!

Some stickles glitter glue to finish, well I think it's finished but we'll see.

This is just the start of these cards and there will be more ideas soon.
My tip: cut out lots of circles before starting, things move along much quicker.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

Beautiful cards! and I love a bit of Stickles glitter glue too. At the end of every year I say that I wont be making any more Christmas cards and always end up making a few.....strangely enough on my 'craft to do list' this year there is a mysterious entry... to work on one Christmas card a week....no sure if that's just wishful thinking especially as I work at a snails pace ha ha Michelle xx

Love those cards! I suppose having the stamped image saves having to faff with lining it all up. I can see how this could be a good batch make. I have so many little projects to do before I can get stuck in on Christmas cards though truly after that marathon in December I don't need too many for this year. Happy WOYWW, love n hugs Cindy #4
