Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Two new cards this week and fairly quick to make too!
You may remember I showed you these backgrounds last week which were used to make the cards above. The background piece is Distress Oxides swiped from my craft mat.
The top layer was sprayed using Prima Color Bloom sprays and die cut using Tim Holtz Thinlits Dies.
Although the difference in the two pieces is quite delicate I like the idea of using two different techniques.

I stamped and die cut more butterflies.
Enough here for a few cards.
And here is a close-up of one of them. The top is vellum which I finished with a little stickles glitter glue and colours pearls on the corners.
Love these Thinlits dies, the patterns are so good and they cut so well too.
The next is one of the newer dies by Tim and the stamped sentiment by Woodware.
I would love to hear your comments.
Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,
Angela x

I think this is a great technique for really effective cards. It's so versatile you can change the colours and image to suit anyone.
This is beautiful, love those inky oxide backgrounds. Great way to use those dies, I have some but never know how to use them, but they look fab like this x
Just gorgeous, Angela. Love the pastel colours and the die cuts too.

Wow - what fabulous cards. I'm particularly drawn to the die cut bits...they add such a great dimension!
