Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".
If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.
So here is my desk for today!
So that's me done for today.
I've given up worrying about the exploding box, I'll just buy a new one when it finally falls apart.
A close-up shows that I am playing with my glue gun and not for sticking stuff either.
I'm using some Seth Apter stamps and stamping into the melted glue.
I also have some of Seth Apter's paints out which I've been using on a project and some jars of Treasure Gold gilding wax.
That shaving foam is still sat there waiting for something t happen Lol!
I have finally given up and decided to make some Christmas cards which I actually posted here (with a tutorial for making) on Monday and here's one of them just to prove I have been making stuff!
I have more on the way but you will have to wait for those.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.
I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
happy crafting,
Angela x

I chuckled at you getting a new exploding box when that one gives out.... maybe a bigger one next time ๐๐๐๐

I agree with Annie! I suppose I need to start thinking about Christmas cards too.... soon! Helen #1
Hi Angela, I really ought to start thinking about Christmas cards, just can't quite bring myself round to it yet. I'd not thought about stamping into hot glue; great idea, so thanks for sharing that! Sarah #26
Stamping into melted glue sounds messy but fun! What are you making with it, embellishments or something? Your Christmas card is fun and funky, love it!

Such a neat and tidy craft space - great C. card. x Jo
Your card looks so nice. I like the fresh colored pendants upon the soft colored background, a very good contrast.
Dear Greetings
Sabine
Great Christmas card! And your desk is so tidy today! I can't wait to see your projects with the glue. Happy WOYWW!

I love Seth Apter's stamps! But I don't have any yet, definitely on my wish list! Fun Christmas Card! Perhaps your next exploding box should be a bit bigger. . .Have a great week, thanks for sharing! Lindart #31
Hi Angela. That's a great Christmas card - well done. Love the desk - never thought of stamping into hot glue, though!!
Take care. God bless.

I am grinning because, I have never worried about the container falling apart because I make piles... :) Love those star backgrounds on these cards Angela. ~Stacy #33
Fantastic Christmas cards you made Angela, love the stamps you used and colours.

Hi Angela. Stamping into hot glue sounds quite messy and complicated! I love the Christmas card. Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely week, Heather #30
I've finally decided not to make 100+ cards this Christmas but to just make a few very special ones and the others will have to be commercial. This year I am going to be chilled.
You just enjoy making yours and I will enjoy seeing them on your blog.
Hugs & thanks for the visit to mine, Neet 10 xx
Hi Angela, I love the card! So fun, and lovely colours. Visiting late this week, I was just totally wiped out yesterday, but feeling much better for a good nights sleep. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX
Love the "buy a new one" mentality. Pretty card. Thanks for the visit. BJ#8
Great idea to just buy a new box when the old one falls apart, whaaa, you're my kind of girl! I love the colourfull christmas ornaments on your card! Thanks for visiting me earlier, hug from cold, rainy and windy Holland, Marit #25
Hi Angela, Christmas card is great.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Happy WOYWW

I like your exploding box plan! Interested to see how the stamping into hot glue works. I've seen a lot of hot glue being used decoratively recently and not always convinced by the results, still beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say.
Your desk is so full this week. I love the Christmas card! Great background. Have a great week. Dorlene #32
Great stuff as usual, Angela. I've never tried stamping into melted hot glue - can you then stamp with this and get the reverse of the stamp? I'd love to see what you use it for! Great Christmas card.
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #35
Thanks for getting back to me - I see what you mean about the glue sinking inwards - the bit not sinking in would probably not be flat enough to give an impression anyway. It sounds an interesting idea though, and I look forward to seeing the project.
Shoshi
Love your desk and you Christmas card - beautiful Hugs Sarah xx #34
