Friday Fun Day with smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I wasn't sure I would have much to show you this week but I had a nice surprise when we took my mum out this week to a garden centre.
Look what we found!

This is enough to make anyone smile though probably not my beloved!
It's a big shop! with lots of interesting things.
So of course I had to go in.

Took a few photos of some nice card samples.

Very nice!

Bought one or two things, Naturally!

More smiles!

Meant to show you these last week, Birthday pressy.
Those flowers are so pretty.

The lady to the right is one of my Powertex pieces.

And finally Stanley is here to thank you for visiting.
He is actually looking much tidier now than he does here as he has had a hair cut.
I think he is pretending not to know he's having his photo taken or maybe he's seen a squirrel in the garden!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

A lovely post today you do lead a busy life. I'm intrigued by your Powertex piece. I bought some ages ago but have yet to experiment!

Aww, Stanley looks so handsome! What a good-looking dog! We've got a Crafter's Companion store nearby too and they've got some nice stuff in there! Enjoy your weekend, Angela!

Love Stanley!!! I went to a garden centre last year and they had the same craft shop. I wonder if it was the same one? :-) The flowers are lovely. I keep hearing about Powertex - not actually seen it for real or used it. Have a great weekend. Anne x

Lucky YOU. We don't have those stores in our country, so I really enjoyed the card samples you shared. I bet they gave you ideas, too.

Loved Stanley. He really put a smile on my face.

Your birthday flowers are lovely, and I really enjoyed seeing your powertex lady. I've not seen the product in the states, but I'm sure it's here. I would LOVE to try it one of these days because the pieces you and Helen (Stamping by H) and Kaybee (Ink, Paint, and Me) have shared their work on their blogs, too.

Have a great Friday and an awesome weekend, too.

WOW, that last sentence in the third paragraph made NO sense at all. I hope you got the gist, though, and just realize I need coffee (grin).

Interesting Angela. I would like to visit one of the Crafter's Companion shops when I am in UK. I have a been a 'member' and traded from them for years, but their price for postage to Spain has suddenly shot up, so i don't think I'll be looking on their site much any more.
I did smile at Stanley avoiding the camera. All of my dogs and cats deliberately look away when they see I have a camera. I have to trick them into looking at me. Kate x

Oh a craft shop! I've not Heard of Crafter's companion but it sure looks like a wonderful shop that I would love to browse around (and spend lots of money). The card samples are lovely. It certainly encourages customers to buy that particular stamp.
Beautiful tulips. I love tulips of course coming from Holland. Your lady is forever beautiful. I remember when you made it.
Funny how animals look the other way when you try to take a photo. Never mind, I think it is a great shop of him (en profile as they say in France).

This is great, Angela. I didn't know Crafters' Companion had a shop! I'd have been in like a shot. Thank you for your visit, and yes, I had a wonderful time at the show! I can't wait to start using my new stash. This evening I started doing some clearing in my studio to try and get more organised and create more space to work, as well as storing things a bit better. Time to get ruthless.

Well, it would have been rude not to buy anything! Lovely flowers and your powertex lady is stunning, would love to have a go with powertex - another thing to add to the list! Hope you had a wonderful birthday. Your fireplace is stunning as well, gorgeous art nouveau details. Stanley looks very handsome, but doesn't look like he's into the whole being a model thing!
