WOYWW - 810 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I wonder if you can guess what's going on here?

You may have guessed by now that I'm making baby journals.

Started two Baby journals as my friend's daughter will be having a baby in the new year so better get my finger out as I don't know if it will be a girl or a boy!

If you were around on Monday you might have seen the first stages being completed.

So that's me done for today, better get on......well after I've had a nosey at what you're all up to.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Angela x

the baby journal will be gorgeous, and then you'll have one left for another occasion! How nice to hear someone who doesn't know if they'll have a boy or girl until the birth... Happy WOYWW Helen #2

Well, if you make one of each, no doubt the other will come in handy one day soon :)
On time for WOYWW!

Having read your comments about self adhesive tape, which one do you think is best? I have been trying to use glue instead, but I always use too much! I think I need one of those fine metal tops. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12

That’s such a great card, I really like the yellow and grey colour scheme. I’m with Helen, nice to hear of someone who wants to wait to find out what the baby will be!

How nice to be making something non-Christmassy after all the flurry of making Christmas cards. I bet you enjoy the journals.
I've had that stamp two years or so but waiting to find a really different way of using it - just gave up and used black card with my H2O's. If you spot a mechanical one using that stamp give me a shout please.

The waterfall comes from the blue pots and there is also a fountain in the middle of the pond, but we turned the pump off for a while because the wind was blowing the water everywhere. We thought we had a leak and Dennis took all the stones away to see if he could find it. He didn’t put the stones back where they were so too much liner showing. 🙄 Angela x

What a lovely idea making the journals - they will be greatly treasured I'm sure. Quite unusual and a refreshing change to not know ahead of time if it's a boy or a girl.
Hope you have a great week,

I am agog that you are doing both a boy and girl journal - you're an extraordinary friend, and an outstanding artist, to say nothing of generous to the max!

A very precious keepsake for your friends daughter. Can't wait to see it finished. Sorry for the late reply. I actually managed to get my Christmas cards made and posted in the first week of December (this is a one time only experience) so I am now playing catch up! Have a great weekend Michelle x #14

Oh my, all good intentions to comment on Wednesday, but with Church home group in the morning everything gets pushed back. Not sure I am breathing really, hurt back some more too, oh my.
So you are making 2 journals (one boy - one girl) so you have the right one come the big day. Oh my! Not sure I'd be that dedicated.
Don't worry, Christmas time is rest time here with just the 3 of us in the family, hubby mainly cooks and son home for a couple of days is a blessing.
