WOYWW - 856 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm working on some C. Cards for a class I'm doing soon for some friends.

For now the desk looks a bit boring.

This is part of a sample I'm preparing for them. I'm sure you'll get to see more of these soon.

If you remember my journal page from last week, this is what it looks like now it's complete.

Details for making this can be found here:

Finally the start of my new page.

Nearly forgot, we made these at the Craft club on Saturday, so cute or what?

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Make it on Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you another page in the Ledger Journal:

Lisa Horton Cloud 9 inks and Inkilicious stencils.
I decorated the background by using a piece of acetate (could also be done on a stamping block) with some of the ink applied to it and a light spray of water, just enough to loosen the ink.
Turn this over on to the paper, move it around lifting and replacing it until you've covered the area that you want.

Then using the stencils and a blending brush apply the detail with a darker ink so they stand out.

I like this design but felt It needed more so
I've diecut some leaves to use as focal images.

This is a very old set by Tim Holtz though I believe it's still available. I coloured them and added some heat embossing too.

I added the leaves and a stamped sentiment.

I've heat embossed the sentiment which makes it stand out better but not so much when photographed because it's quite shiny.

And that's the next page done.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

Friday fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Lots of walking in the park this week whenever the weather was okay and here in Lincoln it's been quite good until Thursday when it rained really hard so we went to visit my cousin to take her some craft stuff for the Girl Guides. She's the District Commissioner for the area where she lives and I like to help when I can.

Daisy and Alfie are here to say hello, no idea what they're looking at.

Still picking Beetroot which are looking good.
Not sure how much Beetroot we can eat, didn't expect them to do so well really.

When the weather was too bad to garden I added to my felted fungi collection.

Always on the look out for fungi in the park and found these whoppers.

And yet bigger ones up here!

Think that's my week really except for the crafting.

And a very appropriate funny to finish.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Leave me a comment and I'll pop over to see what you've been up to this week too.

Another Ledger page started.
I've moved on from the sea and looking at the garden.
Those Cloud 9 inks by Lisa Horyon are beautiful even on lighter coloured paper.

This was my final sea design for now and the details for making it can be found on the Monday post here:

So that's me done for today.

Make it on Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you another journal page and a fun technique:

Lots of stamps from magazine freebies, a stencil by Inkilicious and a collection of Distress Oxides.
I attached the Low tack tape around the edge before starting and then using a blending brush added the colours, slightly darker around the sides to add shadow.

I've drawn around the edge of the stencil on vellum and then cut it out.
Next removed the Low Tack Tape, attached the mask over the stencilled design and add some stamping details around the edge.

Once that was done I removed the mask and added the inner detail and a little more shading.

I have applied stickles glitter glue and the sentiment but we're not done yet.

A few die cut bits and pieces to finish it and I think that will do but what do you think?

I would love to hear your comments.
Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Walking in the park this week and lots of fungi appearing.

This is the first time I've seen an Ink Cap in the park.

The flowers are still doing well.

Not sure what this mushroom is.

But these are definitely Honey Fungus.

And a new knitted top for the Post box.
I don't know who does these but they look brilliant.

Not much else today so I'll finish with a funny.

If you're a crafter you will understand.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

Leave me a comment and I'll pop over to see what you've been up to this week too.

I don't think things look much different here except that I am working on a new journal page.

This is a stencil by Inkylicious and you should get to see more of it by next week.

However I have been busy and finished another page since last week, also a sea theme.

Details related to this can be found here:
I don't mean to but think I'm a bit sea obsessed at the moment!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

Make it on Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you more pages in the Ledger journal:

More fun today with the Altenew stencil.

To continue with this page I've added some fish.
Stencil by Funky Fossil.

I applied  this with black ink and a blending brush.

Mermaids needed here to brighten up the page. this was a two piece die to cut the pattern in silver card and the background colour was Clarity card.

You can't have a sea page with out some bubbles so added those and ......

finished with a sentiment and Stickles Glitter glue.

That's all done! Hope you like it.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

This was actually the last Saturday in September but forgot to post it.

One of the members having their birthday so we had cake today.

And some card making obviously.

We all did the same style of card but decorated them differently.

This one was mine, need to get started with those C. cards.

This weekend saw more crafting at the Lincolnshire
Showground, Crafterama.

Great day!

More gardening but I'm not going to bore you with more pics of that so we'll finish with:

a few crafting funnies......

If you're a crafter you'll be able to relate to these.

Have a great weekend everyone and

 thanks for stopping by.

Leave me a comment and I'll pop over to see what you've been up to this week too.
