Angela here again to show you what's been going on around here this week to make me smile.
Work in the park continues.
They are also renovating some of the old buildings which belonged to the original owners (everything is now owned by the council). There was a large house originally but like many it was demolished due to it becoming too expensive to maintain.
Hopefully next week I will have more photographs to show you of all the work that is going on.
Construction of the wall has now started at the weir, looking forward to seeing what happens next.
More bricking done. All lovely old recycled bricks.
Can't wait to see it finished.
All this makes me so happy to see our gorgeous parks being cared for so that future generations can enjoy them too.
Something else that made me smile this week was unpacking my new stash from the Hobbycraft Show at the NEC.
Now that's got to make you smile Lol!
Have a great weekend everyone and
thanks for stopping by.
And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your smiles too.

Ah. The days of unpacking Hobbycraft show purchases is over for me, but how I used to love it, so I can share your joy.
It is good to see the park being cared for. I look forward to seeing the finished product. Sorry I am late posting. Getting over my cold at last I think, so I am feeling more like spending time on the computer. Kate x
