Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card:

made with this Masterboard:

I've been having fun with some wax paper to create a lovely background which I then covered with several colours of distress ink.
There are many ways to do this but I chose the simplest method for these cards by just screwing the wax paper then opening it up and ironing it between two sheets of card.

I actually made three of these and also flicked water onto the surface which reacts with the distress ink. I blotted this with the white card you can see here to create a mottled texture on both surfaces but quite different. The white card will be used for another project soon.

I used an A3 piece of card for this Maserboard and when complete I cut it in half as seen here.

Then into ten small pieces as you only need a small amount for each card.

I used the following dies to complete this card.

Obviously you could add any embellishments to this but I decided on the snowflakes and you could of course use printed papers for the background if you don't wish to make your own background papers. Either way this is a fairly quick card and very clean looking too.
It has been deliberately made quite flat as it may well have to be posted.

I hope you enjoyed watching me make this and I would love to hear your comments about it.
Only another nine to go with this Masterboard!

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
