Friday Fun Day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Saturday smiles in the park but what's going on here?

The people are all here for the skating!

The children and the adults all enjoyed this, a pop up rink for the weekend.

To make it more fun there were market stalls too.

 New café open.

Not very brilliant photographs as the light wasn't too good but this is the view of the cathedral from the park.
Lincoln famous Christmas Market starts Friday.

Just for Lisca, here is a photo of the Gully which surrounds the Weir.

I've found some great old photographs of the park but those are for another time.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

So your park got a bit of restoration. I'd love to see the old photos, because it looked like the crowd was really enjoying the skating for the day.

Goodness, Angela, that cathedral looks like one Monet might have drawn. It is beautiful. Wonderful photos and lots of smiles all around.

Looks like every one had a great day out. I tried ice skating once, but couldn't get over the fear of someone skating over my hand whilst I was trying to get up from the floor. I hear they're bringing back Dancing on Ice though so will probably watch that to fill the Strictly void in the new year! Have a great weekend x
