Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:
Though it was originally just a mop up card, rather than waste the ink I mopped it up with an A4 sheet of craft card that just happened to be around at the time.
I started by cutting a piece to fit a 6x6 card blank and then die cutting the corners.
I used a piece of this patterned paper to create the background layer.
I used one of the new Tim Holtz 3D embossing folders on the centre of the craft card and rubbed over the design with distress ink on a blending tool and then added a little Stickles Glitter Glue when it was dry.
The die cut sections were attached leaving some of the inner gears loose so that they could stand up a little but flatten to go in an envelope.
To complete the design I added some Tim Holtz die cut gears, black gems, copper gears and a text stamped tag finished with green ribbon.
All finished ready for my father's birthday, just hope he likes it.
I would love to hear your comments.
Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,
Angela x

What a great way to incorporate the die and embossing folder, the added gears and cogs really make it all pop. Anyone would be happy to receive this Angela and would make a great Father's Day card too.
Hope your Dad has a super Birthday, i'm more than sure he will love it.
Wishing you a fabulous week.
Hugs Tracey xx
Super clever way to use that master board! I just love how you used the cogs dies, so cool! The finished card looks fantastic!!
Have a good week!
Oh my! I love this Angela! The way you used the diecut and then adding the extra cogs and gears over the embossed area looks absolutely fabulous! Stunning male card! I'm sure your Dad will love it!! Have a wonderful day! hugs xx
Ooh, I have that die set too! Love how you used all those gears on th ecard - I always thought this was a very "generous" set with so many dies in different shapes and sizes.
Wow, such a pretty mop up piece! And it made for a lovely card as well!
