Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Look at these beauties and they just keep coming!

That has to make you smile Lol!

The garden's looking nice too apart from the lawn which is now brown.
It's not easy to take these photographs as we have the pond netted due to the local herons who like to visit but the water lilies are so lovely I wanted you to see them.

Last Friday I went to the NEC, which was a great day out.
Lots of fabric companies at this show.

 Some great displays too.

Steampunk.

Rat Bike.

And the fabrics were to die for!

 Great demos too.
One of my favourite techniques here which is wet felting.
I used to do lots of this with the children I taught.
I might just go back to it soon.

 Knitted landscape, very sweet.

And this week we decided to go to the East coast to cool off.

We saw this dog and it's family arrive.

He had one thing on his mind!

And in he went.

Maisie was not amused and looked at me with shock on her face.
She is not a lover of water of any kind.

However this guy was and seemed to be enjoying the waves.
I'm with Maisie on this one and as it is not compulsory we did not join in Lol!
That was a lovely day.

So that's more or less what we've been up to this week and I still haven't done any ironing!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

The show was fab last Friday, it's becoming my favourite out of the three per year as it's a lot smaller, giving way to those smaller companies.
Also it's a lot easy to see the demo's rather than standing on tip toe to see over people hee hee!
Wasn't Bex & Jays Van & Bike amazing! Reminded me of my very first car haa haaa..
Lovely break for you and the wee doggies, nothing like the feeling of sand between the toes.
Mmmm I love strawberry's but can only eat them in small amounts as they play havoc with my thyroid :(
Make the most of them whilst they still keep coming, it's so good to see home grown.
Have a super weekend Angela.
Hugs Tracey xx

I had to chuckle at your comment about your ironing....I’ve been putting mine off too because of the heat but if I don’t do some soon I will be sewing in the nude 😂😂😂 Your lilies are stunning....shame it has to be netted. Thanks for joining in the fun every week.
Hugs,

Your lilies are beautiful and I remember having some when I had a pond, too. Yours are prettier than mine, though.

Between you and Tracey, I have fabric envy. This show was probably one I would have truly enjoyed. We have NOTHING anywhere close to this in my city, or even my state for that matter. Thanks for taking us. Hope you have a great Friday and a lovely weekend, too.

Beautiful water lillies! Stunning! But keep those hungry herons away.

I love seeing pics of the exhibition. I agree that those fabrics are out of this world.
It certainly is beach weather. I'm surprised the beach is so empty. I suppose the children are still at school. Here they broke up last week and won't go back until september.
Have a fab weekend,
hugs,
Lisca
