Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".
If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.
So here is my desk for today!
Back to messy!
I had planned to do something but we had an emergency phone call from the carers that visit my parents and so spent most of Easter Sunday driving round Rotherham and Sheffield looking for a pharmacy that was open so no time for any crafting.
This unfortunately is when the Lock Down doesn't work but we're back home again now so fingers crossed that we don't have anymore frantic phone calls. I must say that on the whole the roads were very quiet although there was a queue in the pharmacy but they were good and let me sit in the car then rung when the medication was ready.
A few new things, stamps, dies and some other stuff which may seem unusual but I have a plan!
I haven't done anything with the new tube box but the other one is finished and you will get to see it next week.
Found this pebble in my collection and it reminds me of something, it's that cracked bit but what do you think?
Planning to use up the rest of this masterboard too and the black flowers but not sure quite how yet.
So that's me done for today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.
I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Stay safe and have a great crafty woyww .

So glad yu managed to sort your parents' medication out Angela. Hope they are both doing well. That pebble reminds me of an egg. Look forward to seeing what you do with the master board. The black flowers are very striking. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7
So sorry to hear about the frantic dashing for your parents - hope it was not too serious and that they are both well now.
That pebble reminds me of an open mouth so I am thinking of a face. It reminds me of that huge one that I have seen somewhere - but cannot think what I am on about at the moment. Doh! Blonde moment (even though it has faded).
Looking forward to the tube next week - exciting!
In the meantime
Stay safe and well
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
Sorry to hear you've had to sort out family medication problems...it's at times like this that we all need things to go problem free. I've had a delay on getting my inhalers and am hoping they get them in stock soon.
I rather like the pebble and am sure you will use the crack as part of it's feature.
Hugs,

I see a face with beautifully defined lips ... but that is me always trying to turn rocks into little humans. Love the master board and always fascinating to see what you create. Have fun creating in your studio.

Hi Angela, I'm another who sees a mouth/lips in that pebble! Vaguely reminds me of the Easter Island heads. Good you finally got medication sorted, poor pharmacies around here have never been so busy. Fortunately our GP is sending prescriptions electronically to the chemist over the road from them, it's just taking them a few days to get them all done. Stay safe, Hugs, Shaz #8 X
Hi Angela. Oh my - glad you were able to get everything you needed for your parents. A busy tiring day for you. The stone... hmmm... I thought at first it looked like an Easter egg, but on second glance it reminds me of someone singing - a face, a head. That masterboard is great - as are those black flowers.
Enjoy using them.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Always enjoy my visit here. I am also loving the post below with the bright pink backgrounds. WOW. The stone, to me looks like a piece of homemade bread, add the butter and break a tooth ! Stay Safe and enjoy your time. #23
Lots of ideas floating around... look forward to seeing the results.
Stay safe

I'm sorry to hear youv'e been frantic trying to sort out your parents, it's such an issue when you don't live close by - I went through the same thing a few years back but without the hassle of the lockdown. Hope you're ok after the travelling.

Sorry to hear you had to rush to your parents and hope they are okay, i think the pebble could be a face as soon as I saw it it look like it had its mouth open,

Sorry to hear about your emergency dash, it is so frustrating sometimes when we are not near to our loved ones. I think the cracked bit on the stone looks like lips! One of those potato head faces. You asked about the glue I used, it was a multi purpose glue from Craftstash. I didn’t think paper would need an overly strong glue, so I didn’t use tacky glue which I have, I also have Collall multi glue. I put the pages in a book in my husband’s vice to flatten them. x Angela #24
Sorry to hear you had an emergency with your parents, I hope they are ok now.
I love the rock and see a definite mouth there - could be an Easter Island head perhaps - I'm keen to see what you do with it!
Hope you have a good week, stay safe and well,
Hugs, Diana xx #16
Glad you were able to get the meds and hope your parents are ok.
The way the stone is sitting I'm seeing a mouth with the cracked bit.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

Hi Angela, ooh that is lucky you are within driving distance of your parents. And that they could call you when they got everything ready. hunh, that is a cool looking stone. it will be interesting to see how it evolves. ~Stacy #30
The cracked bit looks like a mouth to me.
Thanks for the visit BJ#20
I always think your desk looks great, even when you think it's "messy". I hope your parents are okay.
Nice busy desk as usual, and the pebble looks like a) cracked egg, b) head with mouth. Maybe it's an egg-head with a mouth. Lovely floral masterboard. Thank you for visiting, and I'm glad you enjoyed my post this week, and my mandala colourings. My life really isn't too different from pre-lockdown days actually - I always have more to do than I have either time or energy for! With my hubby around all the time, though, it does feel more like a bubble though, with less interaction with the outside world. The kitties are enjoying it!
Stay safe and well, and happy WOYWW,

The people in the healthcare industry are so important now more than ever and it’s great that everything worked out for you and your parents meds. I’m looking forward to what you have in mind for the items on your desk this week. Dorlene #32
I hope your parents are well, phonecalls like that are always terrifying but in times like this they scare even more! The pebble looks like a cracked egg... you could paint a little chicken (what's it called?) coming out of it. Thanks for your visit to my blog earlier, have a nice day and stay safe! Hug from Holland, Marit #21
Love the spill the bean facts you left over on my blog.
I think your turkey claw one was hysterical hee hee.
Keep week and see you next week

The crack in the rock looks like a pair of lips to me - can hardly wait to see what you're going to do with it! :D
Sorry your Easter didn't go to plan hope all is ok now. Your desk looks busy the pebble reminds me of an egg. Keep safe and hope you have no more panic calls. ANi #15
Hi Angela, I am based in Sheffield so if you ever need anything for your parents do let me know. I am always happy to help if needs be. Happy belated WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro x (#3)
Your pebble reminds me of a bread roll....A little on the hard side x. Looking forward to seeing your makes with the fun items on your desk x.
Lots of interesting things going on here (even though they may have been on hold while you were on your emergency dash). I love the pebble - it looks like a laughing mouth to me, and I'm imagining the eyes and nose around it. Looking forward to seeing where it takes you...
