WOYWW - 658- What's On Your Workesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Still some room left in the Exploding Box though it's not very tidy so may need some sorting soon.

New white pens though I've not had chance to try them out yet. I must have bought stacks of white pens over the years, all were meant to be so good and just disappointed so we'll see how good these are soon.

Also new stamps too.

Thought you might like to see this now it's finished.

I had very little idea when I started this where it would end up as I was just playing with the Gel plates. I'm sure the bubbles will be meaningful for lots of you but I hope the background shows some brightness may be on it's way, light at the end of the tunnel as they say.
It's funny how things come together when you just start to play.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Nice to see the page done and gel plate goodness too. I love the mushroom stamps as well, very cute. White pens? Then a glues - all crafters seem to be on a quest the scope of the search for the Holy Grail to find the best one ever. I have a ton too and they work to varying degrees. Do share if these are THE ONES. I want to get hem before the run on them wipes out the supply... :D

Stay Safe & Happy WOYWW!

I do love how we all share the best bits when we find them. Today I’m sharing where I order my zips etc from...I think it’s good to support the best suppliers. I love the bubble page...reaching for the stars is such a positive motto.

Your desk looks great. I bought those chalkola pens from Amazon and was not very satisfied! Hope yours are better. Hugs, Valerie

Look at that little dragon, so cute! That’s a nice range of new stamps you have there - it’ll be interesting to see how you get on with the white pens, they do vary so much. Great pages you finished, the moon face reminds me of that very old black and white film where the rocket crashes into the moon face (A Trip to the Moon maybe?)

Ooh lots of crafty goodness on your desk today - I love the gel printing, what gorgeous colours and it's so nice when random play ends up producing perfect results. I love the toadstool stamps too. The white pen saga is never ending isn't it. I do recall Shaz once doing a white pen comparison - she was wonderful at testing materials and sharing her findings wasn't she - and I purchased her suggestion and it was fantastic - however time and memory mean I no longer have a clue as to which one it was amongst all my other white pens - I perhaps need to do a bit of research again and then label it. If I find out I'll definitely mention it in a blog post.
Hope you have a great week,
Diana xx #15

I feel your pain for white pens. I also have tried many, most with disappointing results. I think my favourite so far is Sakura. I have never seen that brand before, let us know how it is! Love the new stamps! I love your journal page. I'm planning on playing with my gel plate this week, we will see how it goes! I like the colours you used!

Love that quote on your journal page - and the journal page itself. Lovely and light which is just the ticket for the start of the year.
I will be interested to know how your white pens go as I too have problems. The best so far for me have been Posca but today I tried another old one and it seemed pretty good. Now what it was I have no idea, might have been a Signo.

Hope the white paint pens work! I have a white pen by Gelly Roll that is still working but many others were worthless.
Great new stamps and love the page!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Hi there Angela, loving how that page turned out. Hope you have good luck with your new pens - as you say, they often promise more than they deliver. All my paint type ones have never lasted long. The gel are a bit better but so fine. Great mushroom stamp!! and yes, I do like an exploding box, when it gets to morethan 3 I have to do something about it!! Have a great week, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindy xx #17

I love your journal page - playing in journals is the greatest form of creative fun! I'm anxious to know how the white pen works...like you, I've tried so many and have yet to find one that is as promised! Do let us know!

Hi Angela, I'll await your report on the white pens. I've only tried 2 different ones but been disappointed with both of them. Love the cute stamps. I haven't heard of that brand, so may have to check them out! Have a lovely week, Heather xx #20

Interesting, I too have a collection of useless white pens. The best I have so far is the Signo and I buy one almost whenever I see one! Will be very interesting to hear and see how the acrylic pens perform. Your journal page is super, it does say brightness to me, and despite the hurtling of the days, am so ready for consistent light!

Love your new stamps, interesting selection.
Best of luck with your new pens..... Let us know how you get on.... I really don't understand why there's such a problem with white ones.
Take care

Great journal page. I'm also going to try a bit more journalling this year. We'll see how it goes. White pens are a bit of an obsession of mine. I can't wait to see how yours bear up and which is the best. xxx
