Masterboard Monday

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard, well what's left of it Lol!:

All the stamps used here are Aall and Create, inks by Tim Holtz, Distress Oxides.

If you've been around you will have seen this Masterboard before but I still have some left so here goes!
If you would like to see another card made with this Masterboard you can find it here.

To make this card begin by stamping onto the card blank, I prefer to use a stamp with small detail for this. Cut the masterboard into a square to fit the front, edge with matching ink and attach.
Stamp and colour some of the small shaped stamps and place these on the front too.
I used one of the Aall and Create dies to add a little more detail and balance to the design and some Stickles Glitter glue for sparkle.
After adding the sentiment add some shadow around the stamped images for more depth.

And those little snippets of Masterboard are perfect for the inside and envelope too.

And that's your lot for today!

Hope you like it. I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Back in the park again this week and the Willow is really getting going now and thickening up but so is the grass which makes it a bit difficult to see what's going on!

That photograph was last week.

And the Rhododendrons around here seem to do really well.
This one is in the park too.

These are some of the new wild flowers that they planted when they last did some work in the park.
This is one of my favourite photographs this week.

More wild plants.

And the next photo should make you smile!

How cute is that!
Maisie is fourteen this year and wasn't too well a few weeks ago so we were leaving her at home when we walked Stan in the park.
Now she is much better she wants to go with us and kept standing at the door giving me the look but it's quite a walk to the park so we've got her this dog pushchair and I can tell you she loves it.
Once at the park she has a walk round and then back in for the trip home.
What a life!

Now I don't have a lot to show you this week so I'll finish with some dog funnies.

This would not be Maisie or Stan as they quite like the postman unlike a little dog down the road who barks at them even when he sees them in the street, I think it's the red colour they wear that he doesn't like.

This on the other hand could be Maisie and Stan!

If that was Stan visiting he wouldn't have any bones left Lol!

No my two definitely know the way to the yard thank goodness!

Interesting thought!

Yes that could be Stan, Maisie wouldn't dream of doing that it's not her thing.

All done for today.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 677 - What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Desk looks a bit boring here apart from the gorgeous ATCs that arrived this week.

Sorry the light's not very good here but it was lovely and sunny when I took the photo.

Thank you to Caro, Diana, Jo, Annie, Angela, Christine and Helen they are beautiful and the ATCs are great too xXx

I'm busy getting ready for Saturday as it's Craft Club again this weekend and you can just see the card design that we will be working on above.

I have a few new domed blending sponges. I love these as they come in these plastic storage containers.

Before I go I have to tell you I am so excited because I am going to be able to join the Crop this year and have already booked somewhere to stay that allows dogs too so Maisie and Stan will keep hubby occupied while I enjoy the day.
Can't wait!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

This is part of the Masterboard, originally A3.
The technique to create this is Retiform, the stamps are by Aall and create and the inks are Distress Oxides.
If you're not familiar with the Retiform technique I have instructions here:

I made this card by stamping on the blank first with one of the smaller stamps and yes I couldn't resist going round the back again.
Next I layered a couple of pieces from the Masterboard over the front section after edging it with matching ink using a blending tool.
As I have lots of Snippets of left over pieces from other projects they were perfect to add to this card. I always like to prep. more pieces than I need like the butterflies, sentiment frames and even the clock but they never got to waste as they can always be put to good use later as with this card.
I completed the design by adding colour and Stickles Glitter glue to the petals.

And here is the front of the card.

Just a little something for the inside and that's another left-over piece used up.

And we're all done.
Obviously there's lots more Masterboard left-over for the next card so you will see more ideas soon. "Waste not want not" as they say!

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

First we're in the park.

Lots of activity in the park this week.

Got to get things just right.

Some already have chicks.

Which is keeping dad busy.

And before you know it the chicks are up and about.

Maisie's not been walking very well recently so just Stan today.

The swans came over to see us with their new family this week.

The cygnets are so sweet and proud parents too.

And now back home.

I love this but it's probably only here temporarily but thought you might like to see it.

And so to the garden..........

More wisteria out today, it looks white here but is actually pink.

Now this is one big snail!

Just hope he keeps off my lovely plants.

Pretty or what.

The small white fish with the red head is this year's new pond member.

And before I go a few Dog funnies.

See you all again soon.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

WOYWW - 676 - What's On your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday" and Happy 13th Anniversary to you all especially Julia.

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain how you can join in.

So here is my desk!
Fairly quick post today.

I'm back in the cabin again working on this plaque.

Close up of the finished piece with the sentiment added.

The flowers and leaves are 'Snip Art'.
The background was painted lightly with White Gesso before stenciling and heat embossing.
The leaves and flowers were also heat embossed before adding them to the plaque.

When Mr Mojo says get the MDF out I have to do it!

I cannot show you my main desk as I'm just completing my ATCs on there and they are my excuse for not finishing the journal page but I promise I will get back to it soon.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday - Use it or Lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Left-over piece of  Masterboard:

Nearly used this up but couldn't resist another card.

For this new one I've used lots of fussy cut pieces stamped using AALL and Create stamps.
Not sure where the black diecut circles came from, they were in my stash of left-over stuff but they really make the design pop.
Finally added some of my favourite Stickles Glitter Glue to the large flower.

Can't resist a little extra on the inside which is another left-over piece from an earlier project.

And as usual I've taken the design around the back.

Hope you like it and if you would like to see the earlier cards made using this Masterboard you can find them here and here:

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Look at this beauty, what a treat.

Maisie has obviously decided that watching the laptop is very tiring so she needs a nap.

Fast asleep!

Not sure what's she's thinking here!

Stan doesn't care he's enjoying the sun.

Now I know lots of you wont like these but this little family of bugs are so important to the health of the filter and they are all starting to wake up now the weather is warming up.

Here's hubby having a little clear out.

I kindly bought him the gloves Lol!

Building work behind us is getting on now.

And lots of babies appearing in the park.

They are so sweet.

For some reason someone decided to colour the butterfly with chalk though it has been cleaned off now.

The willow arch is growing nicely.

And here is Maisie again looking for Moles though as she has never seen one she wouldn't know what it was if she found it.

Sorry no funnies today as I'm a bit late completing this week's post but I'll ty harder next  week.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
