Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.......which isn't much!

Apart from walking the dogs and doing the grocery shopping (yes I still do my own, no on-line ordering here!).
However, I do think that I'm over the cold more or less so decided to tidy my desk which some of you will know it has suffered greatly during my weeks of sniffles.

It looked like this on Wednesday:

which I know some of you will have seen already.

And even worse on Thursday when I decided I'd had enough of not being able to find stuff and cleared the boxes which made things much worse!

But I'm all smiles now, look at this gorgeous tidy desk all ready to start the new project.

Earlier in the week we got a new microwave. I'll get there soon so that I know how it works as it's different from my old one. Sorry about the shadow.

Daisy in her comfy place.

I know Schnauzers are intelligent but this is taking it too far!

My friend who lives in France sent me this photo.
This is Flaine and I'm pleased we're not skiing there, these people are waiting to get a lifts up to the mountain.

She sent me this pic too, now that I do fancy.

Snow drops in the garden looking pretty.

And the swan family in the park doing well too.

Happy Valentine's Day and wishing you a great weekend.
 Thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

woyww - 819 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!
I warn you it's not very exciting.

Finally got round to doing something on the desk.
Trying to use up some pieces of Christmas paper to come up with an idea for next Christmas cards but not sure how long it will be before I get bored with this!

Still on my "use it or lose it" plan so got out an old punch that I've not used for ages.
I do have the little dies too that go with the stamp I'm using (Woodware) but decided to use the punch as I need quite a few of the circles and it's the correct size.
Hope to have at least one sample to show you next week.

New Dee stamps from AALL and Create too.

The exploding box is quite disgusting.
I have no excuse other than that I have been spending some time felting but this needs sorting or it will definitely explode!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday review of 2024.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Here today to show you more reviews of my Masterboards from last year.

This was coloured but I didn't like the bright colours so added some white gesso with a roller then stamped and stencilled over it.

And then added diecut light bulbs and a sentiment stamped on frosted Vellum paper.

The stamped image here is a giraffe by Kate crane.

It was also this year that I started my Collage Grid journal.

This was so much fun making papers and working on the grids.

Some of these were later cut out and made into cards.

These were some very old stamps but still love them.
Hope you liked them too, think I'll be keeping these.
This could be another part of the new theme "Use it or Lose it" get out all those old stamps and use them or give them a new home.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela xXx

Friday fun day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Which doesn't seem to be very much other than some washing. Trying to catch up with a few jobs now I'm starting to feel a bit more like myself.

Don't think I showed you this but it's still there right now. Guess the maker is working on the next one, could it be Valentine or Easter? we'll have to wait and see.

Been walking in the park and the swan babies are doing well. They were having some flying practice this week.

Back from the park Daisy and Alfie drying off...little s cruffs!

If you weren't here on Wednesday I have been doing some felting.

Joined in with the Sophie Wheatley free classes.

I don't know wherfe the time goes but it's hairdressers again today so might be a bit late getting round.

A few funnies then I'd better be off.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

WOYWW - 818 - What's On your workdesk Wednesday.

There's not much going on here as I've been spending more time felting the Fungi with Sophie Wheatley's free class.

The picture is the newest one but I have done more and will show you those another time.

I normally make a few Christmas cards in January but the week away and then coming back with the cold has meant I haven't felt like standing here so been sat down instead.
The stamp is by Woodware and the papers are
left-over from making the earlier Christmas cards. I will do something with these soon I promise.

The little circle dies are by Woodware too designed specifically for the stamp.
There's some old clear acetate sheets that I found when looking for something else and thought I might use them soon too, they have little butterflies on them.
There's a magnetic die holder at the back on the left (Sizzix), very useful and the glue holder on the right, love it and it makes life easier getting the glue out of the tube.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you more sample Masterboards from last year:

This was so much fun playing with alcohol inks.

And loved turning it into cards.

Christmas cards, Birthday cards, love it.

And a shaker card, must make more of these soon.

And when you're fed up with those
get out the Lisa Horton inks and have fun with stencils.

I  had fun applying these beautiful colours and finishing with the stencil.

Tim Holtz die.

And Woodware stamps.

And when that's complete just cut it up attach the die cut and add a sentiment, layer up with coloured card and you're done.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.
