And this is my desk today.
Mmm, well, I had tidied the desk but as you can see, I have messed it all up again!, no surprise there then, lol!.
I have been working with some new stamps and embossing folders by Sheena Douglas, A Taste of India.
Having stamped the image, I applied perfect medium ink and embossed it with clear powder and then mounted the border as you can see below.
I made the Masterboard earlier in the week, it is on the Monday posting.
It looks like this:
I just need to put them together now and make them into something.
I don't want to keep you too long but what do you think of this:
It looks really harsh when you start it.
But look at it now, completely different.
This is another of the techniques used by Sheena, the mica paint has been rubbed over with gilding wax, gorgeous or what?
I will be back soon with the samples I have put together using these techniques.
Happy Crafting,
Angela x

Coo, what super things you have been doing. The Temple stamps look wonderful and that palette with the multi colours with the gilding wax patina, it is gorgeous.

What a lovely effect - and the new stamps are beautiful. Enjoy playing, Chris # 19 xx
The temple looks amazing, that really is a beautiful stamp! I saw Sheena do that gilding wax technique but I think yours looks much nicer - very effective and very beautiful. Look forward to seeing what you do with the master board. Hugs, Anne xx
Gorgeous indeed! Now I have ANOTHER technique to google. {sigh} I will never make it thru the list at this rate...

Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. I loooove the Indian arches stamp and you have achieved a great effect with the gold edging. Gorgeous shimmer watercolours and your use of gilding wax to tone down pattern is fab.

I love those gloriously coloured squares in the last two shots, before and after waxing.....there's something about the. Pattern and colours. I could live with that as a picture on my wall!! I know, strange huh?
Hugs, LLJ 15 xx
That temple image is beautiful but your colored background... fabulous! Thanks for popping by and happy belated WOYWW!

So fun to see what you have been working on! Yes, it only takes a few minutes to have a mess on a clean craft desk! It's the most fun room to clean though! Really pretty image and backgrounds you have been working on!
I am amazed at how the squares transformed. Love the temple, intricate details. Thank you so much for stopping by. Diane #58
Goodness, Angela, that's beautiful! I can imagine that in real life it's even more so, because photos never show up shimmer very well. I love Sheena's new Indian theme. I designed an Indian border a bit like that to cut with my Cougar, and I adore Indian textiles!! Your masterboard is stunning too. I must investigate this further when I get time.
Thanks for your visit and your nice comment - "Interested"?!! Kitties are notoriously "interested" in everything lol lol!! They get away with murder too. After only a few months sharing our kitties with us, Mum has now become as much of a cat slave as we are. There's no hope for any of us, I'm afraid.
Happy belated WOYWW,

Wow, what a difference that wax made. Doesn't look like the same piece.
I'd never heard of a masterboard until I saw a post by Julia one day. Now I love them.
Thanks for stopping by my place on Wednesday. Sorry I'm late. Guess I partied too hard this week (grin). Belated WOYWW wishes from # 9.
Love the effect of the embossing around the edge of that stamp! It really makes it "pop"!
