Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Hope you don't get bored with this but I have a few more photographs to show you from the Lincolnshire show.
Though I took loads more I've picked out just a few of my favourites for you.

Red arrows plane, naturally being in Lincoln we see these most days but not this low to the ground.

Steam engines.

Antique restoration, great to watch, love it.

Rather large tortoise, bet he could keep the grass down.

So love these chairs.

And the owls.

Another Airplane.

Interesting bull.

Sorry another plane but it is the home of many airforce bases her in Lincolnshire.

All the fun of the fair too.

A little visit to the flower tent next.

And of course I had to have a visit round the Bonsai.

Nice car.

Some horse stuff too.

And to finish off we saw this great Steampunk style guitar, love it .

Hope you enjoyed a little look at the show, so much to see.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

WOYWW # 473 - What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm in between projects again! and the folder on my desk holds the parts of a new mini book, not made any of these for a while.
The empty kitchen roll has something to do with it.

That's as close as it gets at the moment.

These are the remains of some mop up cloths and I know some of you will have seen on Monday what I made with them and if you didn't they are here.
Behind them are some stamps and dies that I just haven't got round to packing away.

Another die which I haven't used yet.

And a lovely ATC and card from Kelly, love the stamps too.

I wasn't expecting that so a lovely surprise.
Thank you so much Kelly, I've sent you one too.

Before I go, have any of you had problems recently of not receiving blog comments to your email if so there is a way of fixing this that I have used and it works.
If it's of use to you it's here and I've put it on my blog as a sticky post so it will stay there until the middle of July.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela xXx

Masterboard Monday

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
I've been having a little play with some Pixie powders and Brushos applying them through a stencil and spraying with water to make this Masterboard.
It is a good idea to seal the finished design as this will continue to react with water.

I also ended up with these which were mop up papers, I like them both just as much but today I'm going to show you what I did with the mop-up papers so sit back and enjoy.

The first thing to do is to separate the layers and cut away the section you wish to use.

Then attach it to the card blank.

I used PVA glue with a piece of stiff card for this so that I could spread it thinly, a palette knife would work too. Then went over the top of the design so that it was completely glued down and the ink was sealed.

Take a fine nail file next and gently rub towards the back of the card along the edge to remove any rough bits of tissue.

At this stage it's just a matter of adding whatever embellishments you like to complete the design.

I've used some Tim Holtz diecut flowers and some stick on dragonflies.
The sentiment is Tim Holtz too.

And here is the finished card.
I think it has a quite summery feel to it so great for this time of the year.

I'm quite pleased with that and there's lots more mop-up tissue left to play with so I may well be back with this technique again.

Who knows I might even use the Masterboard too! Which was the original idea but I obviously got distracted Lol!

I would love to hear what you think about this technique.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

And guess what! It was the Lincolnshire Agricultural Show this week.
So lots of photos to show you but not all at once so I will add a few this week and next. So here we go!

You cannot go to an agricultural show without seeing animals and these are very special sheep as they are native to Lincolnshire and are called the 'Lincolnshire Long Wool' for obvious reasons and have long ringlet style coats.

Not sure what type this is but he is very cute.

Also in this tent were the pigs.

It was warm in the tent but I think they were just saving themselves for their big entry into the showground!

Cuddles!

More lazy pigs Lol!

I though this one looked particularly comfy.

What about this one. Must have fell asleep whilst eating whatever was in there.

I've taken these photographs for my friend Elizabeth and hope she sees them.

And finally for today.... Kitties and I know lots of people who will love these.

I have more to show you but will save them for next week.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
