WOYWW - 650 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Christmas cards, MDF and new watercolour paints! what will be next!

Think I've made about 30 C. cards now but a few more to go and in between that I've been working on this little box from the Creative Craft Academy.
The stack of little boxes with red lids are bits and pieces to complete the Christmas cards.

The box in the center of the desk is the new watercolour set.

This side is exciting as you can see! Baby wipes very necessary! and the boxes hold some gliding flakes.
Everything else looks more or less the same.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

I did so badly last week I just had a good nosy back thru the posts. Love the ..Octogon card and that poppy display. I'll bet they were a site to see. I saw your masterboard on H's post as well, and love the whole card process. Very nice. And your updat this week - 30 cards? I'm still at zero but I know I need to kick it up, just not till after my birthday and Thanksgiving. THAT is when Xmas begins for us, every year, and I always vow I'll get started sooner. Then I don't!
Ah well....

Happy WOYWW

Oooh, which watercolours did you go for? I do love my Daniel Smith ones, the first time I used them I was amazed at the depth of pigmentation, so very different to my old ones. Hope the gilding flakes are in their pot still, they have a habit of spreading far and wide!!

My tower cards are coming along much better now, and I am using images that I have had for ages, so win win win! I have bought several of those Hunkydory packs where you 6 of each image. I am using the snowman at the moment, but I was thinking of making birthday card towers with the butterfly and animal ones. I think the card stock was too thick for my first ones or it may have been I didn’t flatten it enough in the beginning. Happy WOYWW, have lots of crafty fun Angela #7

I love the Christmas cards, you've got quite a pile there now - lovely! It looks like you are set for some fun with your large boxes of gilding flakes - you can't beat a bit of sparkle at this time of year!
Hope you have a lovely crafty week,

OOh nice Angela, I keep my gilding flakes in big zip loc bags so I can put my cards inside the bag, but I quite often forget about them! Timely reminder as I’m meant to be doing Christmas cards. You are way ahead of me but my panic is now so real, I need to get my overseas cards sorted at the very least!

It’s a case of better late than never with me today...it was an early start for me and I’ve been head down sewing all day.....needs must. I’m now sat babysitting so have a little time to visit my favourite blogs.
Well done you with your Christmas cards....I hope to get the finishing touches done on mine some day soon.

Thanks again for the C card inspiration! I've not used gilding flakes for a while, they are in little plastic pots same as my coloured glitter... back in the day I bought loose glitter in so many colours!! These days I tend to go for glitter glue and ignore the flakes completely!! Have a creative week. Helen #2

Well done of the 30 C Cards I've made ZERO. And for the record the crochet doesn't hurt my wrist at all, small movements not using full extensions are fine really, unless it's writing, but that is getting better on a table but not the noticeboard on the wall. I do what I can and stop don't worry. Thanks for the concern BJ#17

Always such a treat to see what's going on in your studio, Angela...and where would we all be without those baby wipes? It would be madness, I tell you. :D

I finished 4 more tower cards today, and had a little tidy up before making the next lot. It’s my husband’s birthday on Sunday - maybe I will make him a tower card 🤣 x Angela

Still haven't started my C cards and intrigues about the 'need' for baby wipes and gilding flakes Angela x.

New watercolours sound exciting. I always enjoy the look of watercolours but like the feel of painting in acrylic...and of course I have more than enough of each and no time to paint! Looking forward to seeing how you use them xx
