Friday Fun Day with a few Smiles

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
Pretty much as usual, shopping and visiting mum.

It has been very chilly this week! Frosty too so not much going on out there though you can see the sun trying to come out.

Dog walking continues obviously!
I think Maisie was pleased when we got home.

The building work continues too.
Good news that hubby saw one of the foxes this week stood on that mound of soil having a look at what was going on before the workmen arrived.

Despite the frost we've had some sun too and these little faces appeared this week.
Spring must be on it's way though it was February when we had snow last year so we'll see.

These lumps of soil appeared out of the ground!
Yes the moles are back!

This one just outside the cabin is one big mole hill!

Seemed like a good time to go into the cabin while I was down there.

Thought I'd have a little play with some new moulds but I think I need to warm things up a bit as I seemed to be getting more bubbles with the resin than usual.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

How lovely to have snowdrops already. We have no sign of ours yet but the daffodils are shooting up everywhere....wahoooo roll on Spring. I’m pleased to hear Mr Fox has put in an appearance...I’m sure he hasn’t gone far.
Hugs,

The frosty dog walking doesn't appeal but it is better than rain. I am glad the foxes haven't abandonned you completely.
How lovely to have the first snowdrops. I love to see them growing naturally like that.
The moles are a pest. I'd have thought your dogs would be digging like mad at each mound.
I hope you managed to get your resin to work. Have a good week. Kate x

Those pesky moles let nothing get in their way, not even a hard frost. The snowdrops are a lovely sight. I'm still checking my garden but, so far, no snowdrop joy. Have a lovely weekend. Elizabeth x

What a joy to see snowdrops. I've never seen them here, so it's always a treat when I seem my British friends sharing photos of them.

Is there a safe way to get rid of moles, or do they just dig their way even under concrete? Too bad Maisie isn't out there digging and scaring them away. So glad your husband saw a fox. At least you know they are still living in the neighborhood.

I hope you were able to warm your resin enough to get the bubbles out. I read somewhere a butane torch over the top of the piece will get rid of bubbles, but I don't play with it, so I can't confirm it works.

Have a super weekend Angela, and a great week, too.

So glad about the fox being spotted but not so much with your mole hills Angela x. Yes very cold our end too this week and sometimes that 'drizzle' that seems to get you extra wet! What a welcome sight the snowdrops are x. Good luck with those moulds x.

I'm really glad Mr Fox has put in an appearance. So they're still around.
But Mr Mole is less welcome. It is amazing that such a tiny animal cam move such a mountain of earth.
I didn't think the dogs would like to go out in such cold weather. Even with a little 'coat', they still get very cold feet I think.
Oh those snowdrops are a sight for sore eyes. Beautiful! I wonder if they will grow here. I might be able to get some bulbs somewhere, but then again, it's probably too dry.
(We've had freezing temperatures too here, but it doesn't rain)
Have a lovely (rest of the) weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

Lovely to see the snowdrops. Glad the foxes haven’t disappeared. Molehills are not often a welcome sight! I create a great book years ago, Duncton Wood I think it was called. All about moles x

I'm delighted to hear that the fox appeared - I've been worried about where they were going to move to, and it's hopeful that they've found a place nearby. As always, lovely to see your surroundings!
