WOYWW: 537 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

At the weekend I had a mad panic and thought I wouldn't be able to post today as Google said I had run out of space for my photographs and would not be able to upload anything on my blog or Gmail but as you can see I've sorted it at least for now.

The desk is not quite so tidy today as I've been busy making new Masterboards.
  • The box on the right is part of my collection of  'Spectrum Noir' AquaTints Watercolour Inks. These produce the most gorgeous vivid colours.
  • The exploding box is filling up again but still manageable at the moment.
  • The pencil case on the left holds felt tip pens but not sure what they're doing out.
  • I've been using large salt crystals which are the blue tub at the back and the ever useful Gesso by it's side.
  • There's a rather cute little easel on the left too which is useful when photographing cards.
  • The project on the desk is part of one of the new Masterboards but you'll get to see what I've done with these soon I'm sure.
If you didn't see the card I posted Monday I think you might like it and the technique using the Press and Seal again. I showed you this product some time ago and I don't want to tease you without showing you how I use the stuff so you can find it here including the tutorial for making the card.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

I remember that happening to me with Google, I think I spent £5 and got loads more space! The masterboards look zingy, you'll enjoy cutting those up for projects.

Hi again Angela, oh, I SOOO totally get that! Really annoys me, they're walking along with a handbag over their arm you could fit a weeks shopping for 4 people in, and STILL have to carry their phone in their hand. And I get the wheelchair issue- on odd occasions I've used a mobility scooter, and they will walk straight across in front of you, or stop dead, not giving a thought to the fact that you need at least a few inches stopping distance! I really do try hard to avoid people, but admit that after a while I start to feel like just not bothering. Hugs, Shaz X

That's odd - Google usually gives you 15 GB data storage and that's a lot - I didn't think I could ever run out - I guess if you have long videos you might, but blogposts, emails and photos don't normally take up much space. Loving your card with the leaves - which reminds me I'll have to check my Amazon account - I ordered a TH leaves set almost a month ago from the US and it still hasn't arrived! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #18

I've just popped over to see your card and it's stunning - I love what you've done with the old masterboard for the leaves - they really do look beautiful and I'm definitely getting into an autumn mood now with this chillier weather!
Hope you have a great week,

Lots of lovely goodies on your desk, so intriguing too as to what you have been using some of them for.
Wish I had bought those Aqua Tints instead of Arteza's as they are too much like the ones I already had but some nice bright colours would have been good.
Now I am off to see what you did with the Press n Seal this time.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

Hi Angela - thanks for the visit! Desk always looks so busy. Don't you just hate it when you use up all your space? I have been less than rigorous about sorting my photos for the last two years - a problem just waiting to happen!! Off to chack out your card. Cindy #16

Your watercolour inks sound interesting, Angela. I hope you'll show us what they look like in use. I love working with chunky salt crystals too - amazing effect as they soak up the ink. I've just popped over and left a comment on your post about the card - love the die cut leaves! It's very effective.

Thank you for your visit and I'm glad you enjoyed reading about how I met my hubby. We often laugh about that night!

So far I have managed not to splash myself with bleach, although a few weeks ago I was cleaning something and splashed some on the front of my favourite pair of trousers - I'm really sick about that! I'm definitely persevering with the tea bag project and will crack the problem in the end, I am sure. I haven't had a chance to try the new drawing tool yet but I think it's going to be rather good. It seems to be well made and it came in a very nice little box too!

Happy WOYWW,

I had to look at your previous post. WOW!
I also checked my Google storage after reading your post but they say I've used 1% and I've been on here for years. I'll be long gone before I use it all.
Anyway, thanks for popping by! Have a wonderful week!

What a beautiful card Angela, great use of all those left over bits of paper and a clever technique (I couldn't resist scrolling down for a look). Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #3

Hi Angela.
Love the card looks really great use of masterboard bits and bobs.
Re photos as I recall from few years back.. you need to reduce images to upload all photos of x 800 pixels are free. Anything bigger than that go onto fee allowed quota when it hits that you’re not allowed free photos. Not sure if same but reduce them 800 or less and should be ok. I’ve an app I do that on my mobile.
Happy WOYWW. Thanks for sharing, Shaz in Oz.x #20

It looks just as a busy productive desk ought to look. The exploding box is a good idea... I just have an exploding "pile"! Look forward to seeing what you get up to with the masterboards.

I’m late, sorry! Love your steampunk photos in the newer post, what a great day. I do like any sort of COSPLAY, it shows up just how vivid our imaginations are. I think you have it right with making and stocking a few masterboards..it must make it a little easier when you need a card and dont have the ‘right one’ in stock.
