Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

I was just having a play really with a new Altenew stamp but decided I liked it so much that it needed to be used on a card.
I made this simply with a variety of Oxide ink colours and a piece of A4 card.

And the final result!
As you will see I used  a mixture of techniques to complete this card.

The flowers are Altenew stamps called 'Wallpaper' and the squares are 'Halftone'. The sentiment is a die by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions and the embossing folder 'Embossalicious'.

First I layered some black and purple card onto the card blank and then attached the Masterboard background.

I used an Altenew die 'Leaf Medallion' to cut a section away from the embossed piece to reveal the masterboard below and then arranged the flowers and leaves before attaching them.
You can see here the Stickles Glitter glue that was added to the stamens.

This was the positive part created by the medallion die.

I stamped and then coloured the flowers with water colour brushes by DoCraft and then cut them out.
You can see better here that they are slightly tucked behind the embossed card.

One more look at the completed card with tiny butterflies and enamel dots added.

And a little something for the inside finishes the card.

Those little butterflies dies are so useful.

I do have some of the Masterboard left-over and that medallion die Love 2 Create Ch. cut so of course you may see what I've done with those another day.

I would love to hear your comments and many thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting,

Angela x

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Hi Angela! When I saw this masterboard pop up on my reading list I just had to come over and take a closer look. I love it! Such a stunning colour mix and I also love the card you made with it. A fabulous design and the flower stamp is stunning and so beautifully coloured as well. Adore the little butterflies too! Have a great day! xx

Angela that is gorgeous! It's me, Belinda from WOYWW. I am so late that I figured I would comment on your latest post. Don't you just love the Altenew stamps? They create such gorgeous flowers. I love all the stamps I have bought from them. I love all the color and layering you used to create this beauty!
I also peeked back at some of your other recent posts and you have been creating so much beauty it is truly inspirational. Thanks for sharing.

It's been a crazy few days. My boy's school is closed until April 7th and today we went to his school so they could pick up any books they left at school. His school is going to attempt an online classroom. I hope they figure something out so the kids don't lose valuable school time.
Stay healthy and keep creating my friend!

Brilliant work, Angela, I’m really over here for WOYWW a lot late but scrolled down fromFriday to here... was puzzled re embossing but see it’s an Embossalicious I’ve three of them must use other two More, one the Swirls I use all the time, but orchid one is little like this one too.. other one is buttons and for some weird reason rarely use it.
I love the repeat of square texture stamp too. I’ve one that might work??! Yet it make masterboard, ah well!
Great mumma card!
Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too, especially in these troubled times, may we look up in faith! Praying you’re all kept well too!
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x 😊
