WOYWW - 613 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

First this was what you saw last week.

And as promised here's the finished box.

I can't take all the credit for this as the basic idea is designed by Anna Hersom and her team at the Creative Craft Academy: https://www.creativecraftacademy.co.uk/

She sends us all the products to make the project and then we can put it together as we wish.
I tried to make the stenciled glitter look as though it was being blown from the moon.

The clasp and hinges were very bright and brassy when they arrived so I've rubbed them over with some darker coloured Gilding wax to soften the colour.

This glitter comes in a paste form and it's so rich in colours.

The glitter on the faces is lighter so works really well to give just a small amount of detail when brushed over the image.

So that's me done for today.

Just one last thing before I go.
My dear friend Chris who you all know at Chris's Cards and Bits has given me all these brilliant stamps and just can't wait to have a play with them so watch this space.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to but please excuse me if I'm a bit late as I have to go and sort out stuff for my mother ready for her returning home but  I'll be back!
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Your box is magnificent, Angela - love the gold against the blue, and all those funky keys! You've done a brilliant job.

Thank you for visiting, and I'm glad you are enjoying the progress on the cat throw, and also my Celtic knots. As for busy-ness - yes, I'm really too busy and keep wearing myself out and crashing (not a good strategy for managing ME, for which the secret is pacing which I'm not good at!). My sleep is very disrupted (a very common symptom) and I'm always wide awake way into the small hours, and actually only sleep about 4-5 hours a night. It takes me a while to get going in the mornings so I tend to have a pretty leisurely breakfast, and try and get my cooking done in the mornings. I do have a pretty strict routine for domestic tasks and stuff needing doing on the computer, otherwise nothing would get done! I'm a curious mix of highly disciplined and lazy/chaotic. Go figure...

Happy WOYWW,

Who's a lucky lady then? How nice of your friend to give you those stamps.
That box is lovely and no matter if all the bits were provided by the sender it is you who did the basic design and made the box your own - and what a fab job it is.
Hugs, Neet xx 12

Sorry I’m late Angela. My word, that box is a treasure alright! Love the highlights of glitter and the added keys really give it mystery too! The stencilled glitter is lovely, I have some glitter paste that’s designed to apply with finger to highlight raised field....I shall be trying it through a stencil though. It’s currently in the unused and give away pile, so you may have just redeemed it for me!

Love how the box came out! Such a pretty blue.

I do love my carts. If I didn't need windows and book cases, I think I'd have lined the wall with them so I could roll whichever cart of goodies I needed to work with at the time.

Hugs & Creative Blessings! Kelly #27
