Masterboard Monday 'Use it or Lose It'.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you some new Collage Masterboard Grids:

I have had this book for far too long and it needs to be used so today I'm creating collage grids by adding pages from the book. Some are complete pages and some are torn pieces.
Although these are not like my usual Masterboards which are normally A3 they serve the same purpose as being backgrounds for various images and sentiments. Instead of one large sheet they are divided into grids suitable sizes for the cards and journal pages.

These were Layered up with sheets from the mats and stamping, splashes of paint and stencilling.
Next I looked for something to use as the focal image. These are some old die cut frames by Seth Apter and the birds are by Tim Holtz.

To finish this I highlighted the edges of the birds a little with a Uni Ball white pen.

I love these die cut birds they just fit in so well with the style I like.

I can just imagine the birds sat there looking into the distance.

There is a likelihood that some of these will be used on cards at some time but for now they are staying in the journal.

Hope you like those as much as I do, they were fun to make and I'm sure to be back here again soon.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

During my cull I came across some diecuts of Seths. They were just like these shapes of yours and were in kraft card. How strange!
Yes, I like the collages you have made and I do like the white script. It certainly gives impact to the individual collages but then you are the Queen of Collage in my books.
