Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Now what could this be? keep going and you'll find out.

Now this lady is more obvious, she's resting.

And everyone needs a pillow.

And she is not impressed at being disturbed either.
Just look at that face!

Oh well back to sleep!

Found these painted pebbles in the park.
So sweet.

Oh yes and there was this........
Called in the fish farm on the way home from seeing mum to pick up some test tablets......

and this beauty jumped into the bag and came home with us.

Can't let you go without a few funnies.

Bet there are lots of you that can relate to those.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 584 What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain and you can join in and let us snoop around your desk too.

So here is my desk for today!

New Masterboard on the go.

New stamps, stencil and dies but no samples yet.

Some new AALL and Create stamps and stencils too, the triangular ones.

The right side is not very exciting just my tool box and baby wet ones.

However if we move a little further to the side of the desk, interesting things here are the builders self adhesive foil and the box of printed tissue paper. There are some moulded embellishments in the plastic box too.

I have a new pebble here and I have plans for it but what do you think it looks like?
The little pin was a free gift.

So that's me done for today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,
Angela x

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
I am her today to show you a card made with this Masterboard.
I make no apologies I am still enjoying making cards using this great collection of my last Gelli print session and this is only the first Masterboard in the set that you can see on the top towards the left.
Following my earlier projects with this Masterboard I had a few pieces left which I've cut up and reshaped to go on top of the stamped card blank.
The stamp is actually a Carabelle texture plate which I used randomly over the card blank.
I di think that when you have a masterboard like this you don't really need a lot more detail.
The close-up gives a better view.
To complete the card I used a Woodware sentiment stamp and the texture plate directly to the card then added enamel dots by Altenew.
Next week will see me starting on another  Masterboard in the set so hope you will pop back again.

I would love to hear what you think about this project
and many thanks for stopping by.

Happy crafting,

Angela x

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

We've been busy this week but not quite sure with what.

Maisie went to the vet on Saturday but wasn't able to have her teeth cleaned yet as her liver wasn't quite behaving as they wanted it and she's on tablets for a couple of weeks then going back for a blood test.
Monday we took Stan to the Vet for his check-up after the dental stuff and they were pleased with him but he has to go back to for a blood test.
I think their age has something to do with it but Stan seems absolutely fine and Maisie too so we'll see.

This was Sunday and quite unusual to see Maisie getting this close to Stan. Maybe she was still feeling a bit drowsy after her visit to the vet or maybe she is just using him as a pillow.
It's usually Stan that tries to get this close and then Maisie moves away but not this time.
Maisie did lift her head for about two seconds and then went back to sleep. It's A hard life for a dog Lol!
Now this is something you don't see very often.
We've been going through my dad's belongings, I wonder if you can guess where this came from!
He was 18 when the second world war was coming to an end and was sent to Germany when he was called up for his National Service.
Apparently when the war finished there were German soldiers who would do anything for a packet of cigarettes and that is how he ended up with this from an officer.
Hoping I can find a museum somewhere that might take it.

We found this too, no idea what it would have been worth.

He had even kept this too.
There are other things which I might show you here another day.
Think I know where I got my hoarding ability from.

Other than that the ceiling has been moving along.
Plastered on Saturday.

And the painting has started too though apparently it needs some rubbing down in parts but it's painted again and then the whole ceiling will be painted too.

Did mum's shopping on Monday too and went to see her on Tuesday.

This was Stan after he came back from having his teeth done which is understandable.

But look at this madam.
She didn't have her teeth done but she did have several tests including a scan which is why her tummy is shaved but look at those legs! I think she's a human being dressed up as a dog Lol!

Comfy though.

So that's it for today but I'll leave you with some doggy funnies

If you have dogs you will recognise these for sure.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the
Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm playing with Gelli Plates again this week but this time it's a little circular one in my tiny journal.

And this is where I'm up to so far using these stencils but there's more to come on there.

I'm using the small circular Gelli Plate to stamp onto A4 card next but no idea where this will go.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

If you were around last week you might remember these Masterboards that I made using the Gelli Plate.

Today I'm going to show you another card I've made using these papers.
The stamps are by Andy Skinner for Stampendous. The small ammonite stamp is by Hero Arts.
The circular text stamp is by Crescendoh.

I've added some stencilling (Woodware) and the lines are made using the edge of the stamp block.

And there we are all finished.
I trimmed a section of the masterboard and edged it with a die by Memory Box and inked it then just added some Altenew enamel dots.

I couldn't resist using one of my favourite techniques and stamped the back of the card too.

I finished this one in the same way but used a different edging die.

I think they would be suitable cards for men which I always find difficult.

Hope you enjoyed watching me make these cards and I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x
