Masterboard Monday.

 Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

As promised I'm back again with these two Masterboards.

Again if you want to see the original process in making these you can find it here:

And more samples of how you can alter the look of them by changing the colours.

Hope you like them.

But the rest are very different.

All the colours were changed using Picasa Photo editing.

This is so much fun but you have to stop sometime Lol! and get on with using them.

I cannot get the A3 in my scanner so I just do it in two parts.

A new card using a piece from of one of the masterboard copies.

And my first go at adding foil to my cards using my new Hot Foil Machine.

 

The fern plate was ideal for this Masterboard which was originally stamped with real ferns.

 

I had hoped to make more cards with these but been occupied trying to come up with a Valentine's card.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

 Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Walks in the park as usual but we've had to be careful as the wind has blown down branches.

The workmen have been in trimming back lots of the trees.

I think the dry weather in the summer and then all the wind has weakened the trees and large branches have broken off.

Sadly they decided to cut the whole tree down.

Back home again.....

The garden is coming back to life.

This was earlier in the week when the weather was windy but mild.

Just had to show you this. It was parked at the top of our street as we were on our way home after the morning walk.

They used to be a very popular car in the UK and a yellow one was an important part of a famous comedy program called 'Only Fools and Horses' and yes you really can see a pigeon and a pint of beer stuck on the top.

I was talking to the owner and he was telling me that the car is going to be included in a new film but couldn't say what the name of this will be. I'm guessing it must be a comedy.

Curry night at my friend's house, sorry we had eaten up at this stage.

Nothing much else to tell you today so better finish now but a few funnies maybe before you go.

If you have a dog you will be familiar with all of these.

I'm sure they mean well!

WOYWW - 766 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Hi Workdesk friends. 
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

So here is my desk for today!

I have tidied up a bit to make some space so not much going on at the moment. 

The journal book on the desk is what I've used to mount the collages in, the dies on the right are what I'm using to make my Valentine's card....maybe but we'll see. 

The pile of dies on the left were in the exploding box but I'm trying to tidy that up too. I need to know where stuff is and it's got a bit silly recently.

It is a bit better but still more to sort out yet.

If you had been here earlier in the week you might have seen me playing with these sheets of card as I'm making some more collage papers.

I do like making a mess Lol!

Masterboard Monday - What's new!

 Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with these Masterboards:

Although the 2023 review is complete these are some older Masterboards but new cards.

These were the originals done on quite heavy weight water colour paper using real ferns for faux bleaching and stamping.

These two are some of the scanned pieces from the original masterboards. 

I use a laser printer for this and scan it in two A4 pieces.

And now you get to see what I've made with them this time.

The Masterboards were made in 2019 and have been scanned and recoloured.

I so love these masterboards and they make a great card.

Start by stamping some fern onto the card blank and cut a piece of the masterboard to fit the card then roughly tear down the piece any size and attach in your chosen position.

The stamps are by Julie Hickey.

The leaves were done with a variety of dies.

And I finished this with a sentiment stamp and Stickles Glitter Glue.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

 Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

If you think this house is the dogs' home you may be right but I make no apologies so here goes.

This week's story is called 'The Small Stick'.

We have had some sunny days this week so have been playing in the garden.

Alfie was enjoying his new toy when he became distracted.

Concerned enough he got up at the ready.

Which is when Daisy arrived.

He thought this move would work however!

Daisy quickly got the upper hand even though she is only half his size!

And the loser is left sulking! Hee! Hee!

It was my birthday last week and my sister-in-law bought me this.

How brilliant, love it.

Saturday was the first Craft and Chat club day of the New Year.

I decided to do a bit more in my collage journal.

These are not completed but having fun at this stage just cutting and ripping up card and paper without any thoughts of how they will be finished and used.

These are so much fun to work on and a great way to use up any left-over bits of card and paper.

And finally the most luscious bun I've ever eaten though very naughty.

Someone bought these to the Craft and Chat party. The cream was coffee flavoured.

I know you need a few funnies too......

Not one of mine but easily could be!

This position reminds me of someone not far away.

Favourigte Schnauzer position which we know as boxing, they all do it, don't know why.

If you've never seen one of these, this is a Giant Schnauzer. I would love one but would need a bigger house Lol!

I have met one and they are big.
