Masterboard Monday.

A big welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Bloggie Friends,   Angela here to let you know that for all those people who have registered interest in the draw for my giveaway,
I have started making the journal.
The Masterboard is similar to the original, the stamps used are by Tim Holtz, either his own design or chosen by him.
I stamped and embossed onto the paper before too much ink was added which is why some areas appear white.

To prepare the masterboard for construction first I divided the A3 sheet into three sections vertically.

Then cut the paper in half horizontally.

Take the cardboard tubes and flatten them.
Press the fold with a bone folder until it's nice and flat.

Open the paper and lay the tube over it.
Stick down one side of the patterned paper and then the narrow edge.
Bring the other side over and glue into place.

I have cut away a little of the flap so that it will go easily into the tube.

The photo below shows how it should look.

Each of the tubes are completed in the same way.
I will be back later in the week to show you the next stage in making..

Happy crafting,

Angela x
