I am sure you were expecting my usual Monday offering and I hope that you will not be disappointed that it is something a bit different this Monday.
This was one workshop I have so been looking forward to and I was not disappointed, we used so many great techniques to make this lovely canvas and the company was brilliant! (They know who I mean X).
This is the example that Hels showed us to get started.
And everyone started to gather round.
Here's Hels all ready for the start.
And demonstrating the first stages.
Obviously I can't show you everything as that wouldn't be fair to Hels but here are just a few snippets.
So off we went to start our own.......
beginning by arranging the papers to decide on the layout.
Flowers next and obviously the all important cuppa Lol!.
Hels does have instructions for the flowers on her blog
And here are the ones I am working on.
The next technique we used included the Melt Pot. Love it!
Just look at that action! Brilliant!
Still with the Melt pot but a different technique.
And yet another technique with the Melt Pot, what a great piece of equipment it is!
These are a few examples of the projects made.
Hels first of course, lovely!
And some samples from the ladies who joined us for the workshop.
And finally my own.
So many gorgeous canvases, you have to love them.
I would like to thank Ali for organising this and Hels for being a great tutor and look forward to seeing them both again soon.
And of course thanks to all of you especially anyone who leaves me a comment, I will definitely visit you back my friends.
Happy crafting,
Angela xXx

Looks like the workshop was a lot of fun. Your canvas came out gorgeous! I have a melt pot that I purchased last summer, but haven't used it that much yet. I'm going to have to try it with the flowers like you did sometime. Blessings, my friend!
Looks like everyone had a great time! I have never used a melt pot but I think it's something I might dip into sometime soon. (Get it...dip into?) HAHAHA!! Love the card that you made Angela, the touches of blue are wonderful! hugs :)
How lucky you are to take a class with Hels!! Thanks so much for sharing this Angela! Your pieces are just as beautiful as Hels- you are an excellent student!!
